There are several different styles available at Sam's club if you're a member. Just wanting to provide some comparisons for our SD family.
1) The length of the cord that can be used to link the two lights together so you can only use one power cord? In other words, what's the furthest the two can be from each other while still being linked so I could use just one power cord instead of two?
2) How does this fare to the relatively cheap 4' Feit Electric shop lights that go on sale at Costco every so often for about $10-$20 each (doesn't seem to be online as it is in store only and different to the Feit linkable ones currently on Costco's site)? I do know those aren't motion-sensored and does not include a remote like this (operates from standard pull-chain/string). I am not sure if it is linkable or not.
3) How easy is it to find replacement bulbs for these when they eventually go out? For the Feit ones mentioned above, Costco also sells cheap replacement 4' LED tube bulbs as well.
Essentially, I was wondering if there was anything else that would make this deal a lot better than what my original plan was: getting those cheap ones, connecting them to an extra WiFi smart plug I have and then linking them to an extra Echo Dot I have and just voice-commanding them to turn on and off. Yeah, it's a couple extra steps, but wondering if it's worth the extra $20-$40 in savings and some jerry-rigging skills.
Thanks in advance!

1)The link cords are pretty short. At best 3-4'. Don't expect this to go longer, although you can add an extention cord to it...
2) These are pretty much the same as the other generic brand (all over ebay and amazon) but with a remote and sensor (timer too? can't find info)
3)I don't think the bulb blow under normal usage.... rated 50,000 hours. But take it as these are made from China.... The replacement tubes from costco aren't "cheap" anyhow...
Just think of these are fancy led with remote and motion sensor vs. the Felt shop lights.
However, I can not speak to this brand currently sold at costco. The one from a few years back was made by WinplusUSA. I still have to boxes in the garage so I am certain. This current listing is of a brand Koda.
