I'm not sure about the motor power but the 80v charges in like 45 min I believe and last longer. My entire line up is 80 I love it.

This particular deal has the better version of the blower 580CFM as opposed to 500CM version (which is what I have).

Just saw this combo pack for $399 last week in store. Interesting that it wasn't any cheaper than the online pre-sale price.

Note that the batteries are the 2Ah models. Probably fine for most people, but if you expect to do long/big jobs you might have to swap batteries a lot. I use the 4Ah battery in my mower and it's enough for me to mow the lawn for an hour and the battery says it still has 1-2/3 bars of life left.

Just adding some context, this deal seems pretty solid.

I have the 80v backpack blower and on turbo this think blows compared to my sun joe 40v blower. A good buy but 2ah batteries won't do justice. I have 4 batteries 2x 5.0ah on rotation 2x 2ah, 2x chargers non stop.

And this is the attachment capable trimmer that uses the same attachments (steel blade edger, hedge trimmer, etc) as Craftsman and other brands. I've had both items for over a year now and they work well. The trimmer is very powerful and I seldom need to use the highest speed for most work.

The price is "decent", but last year I bought the blower with a 2.5Ah battery and charger on sale @Walmart for $129. I believe I paid $99 for the trimmer, tool only.

Yes, but upgrading an entire "ecosystem" can be very expensive. How old your equipment is and how much value you think you can get from reselling it is a personal decision.

I have the 82V "commercial" version of this, and can say I've been very happy with their line and can recommend that the 2AH batteries are a good match. Anything bigger and they'd be too heavy for the other tools, and they charge so fast that you can have one on the charger while the other is in use, effectively infinite battery power that way with the small inconvenience of walking over and swapping out now and then.

The 80V tools are as powerful as gas equivalents. I have the trimmer, mower, and blower.

My beef is how Greenworks doesn't seem to commit to the line. It appears they've abandoned 80v (most products are discontinued on their website)-- although they're making a 80v version for Lowes under their Kobalt brand. Of course they have to be jerks and alter the battery groves. There are YouTube videos on how to mod the tools to be used on either brand (Kobalt or Greenworks) but it is just an inconvenience.

Got both at end of season last year when they went on clearance:
Trimmer $75
Blower brushless motor $100
21" self propelled lawn mower brushless $225
All kits with batteries and chargers with 60v higher amp batteries.

Adding perspective for potential buyers in respect to price.
This is 80v, so may not change someone's mind.

I mow and trim for 50min on just one battery. But my lawn is 1/4 acre.
Wait till end of season unless you absolutely need it.

A big reason I'm not sure if I want upgrading from 40V to 80V is the weight. For a mower, there might not be much difference, but for hand tools, 40V to 80V adds significant weight. The same weight reason why having a larger like 5.0Ah battery might not be better if a 2Ah can already do the job.

I use 4.0AH in my string trimmer, it get heavy after an hour of use.
