Show me an adapter that supports 120hz.

It's hard enough to find devices that support 4k@60hz. Most of the devices on the market (especially multiple port hubs) only support 30hz.
This is an HDMI 2.0 port. The only ports and devices that support 4k@120hz are:

HDMI 2.1 (a few TVs, no monitors, no graphics cards)
Displayport 2.0 (no TVs, no monitors, no graphics cards)
Thunderbolt 3 (a few monitors)

4k@120hz requires HDMI 2.1 which only a handful of TVs support right now. The RTX 2080 doesn't even have an HDMI 2.1 port.
To make a long story short, they lack the throughput. USB-C devices generally operate using USB 3.0 protocol which only have enough throughput to either (i) support 4k60 or (ii) support 4k30 along with any other ports. Unpowered USB-C hubs have a 4k30 limitation for that reason. You'll need a powered Thunderbolt 3 hub to run 4k60 along with other ports. There are long-form writeups on the topic available online that explain the technical limitations.

Why no other ports?
To keep it small? Obviously you'd grab a USB hub or dock if you wanted more ports.

A device like this should have AC power adapter allowing phone to be charged while outputting HDMI signal. Otherwise, quite useless
weird, almost like they should make notebooks with multiple usb C ports or something.

The guy obviously assumed the only use case for this device is for phones only and didn't consider anyone else might want to use it for other devices like laptops where his concern is not an issue

I got this a couple months ago (using it as I type this) and it's been holding up well. Works well with both my PC (XPS 15) and Mac/Hackintosh, no drivers just plug & play. It is well made with thick braided cable and tough plastic connectors.

Does anyone *make* a USB-C to HDMI adapter that allows you to charge/power the phone at the same time...? I'm not even sure that's possible... it'd be great if I were wrong...

I could use this on my Thinkpad. Has no thunderbolt ports but does have a usb-c. In for one.
