Does anyone knows what happens if you port-in with a BYOD, then upgrade that line? Will it negate the $250 since it's no longer a BYOD phone?

The ones that I bought (item# 223994868256) are good for 10 days.

Also, my SIM order with AT&T was placed on 5/1 and today's order status shows Deliver By 5/5 to 5/7. So take that into consideration when planning your deal.
What plan did you pick for the 5 lines?

Question: I have 10 tmobile lines, 5 of which I'm cancelling this month...did the Costco $150 new line promo in January and got my gc last week.

If I transfer 4/5 lines to ATT just for the promo (not to use phones), what kind of proof do I need for the BYOD device? IMEI? Or can I just do nothing?

Thanks.

Initial order does not ask for IMEIs, just port info. Not familiar with AT&T activation/rebate process, but to be on the safe side, more than likely should have distinct smartphone IMEIs for when you get the SIMs to activate.

The terms say "Activate postpaid wireless service (voice and data)". Maybe others can comment if they know what is required from any previous promotion.

I ordered only 4 lines, and used the Mobile Share Plus 3GB plan for the lowest cost. I won't actually use their service much (already have 4 active phones with the T-mo deal and 3 active phones with the Sprint deal). So the 3GB cap isn't an issue.

$120/monthly for 4 lines (after $20 auto-pay discount), plus taxes & fees.

Just ordered and was quoted the same delivery timeline.

I ended up using five Google Voice numbers.

I played around with a few other VOIP free trial services but most don't allow you to port out unless you buy a monthly plan... And the one service that appears to allow ports requires a CC for autopay and only allows one number per trial.. AND they require that you call in even after porting to cancel the account. Too much aggravation IMO.

Since the deal is available to new and existing customers, I don't see why you can't qualify.

I don't have first-hand experience with AT&T, but typically a carrier has no right to lock a BYOD phone. They can only lock their branded phones bought at a discounted/subsidized price or on an installment plan.

No one has posted about this offer yet and this is a very good offer so I quickly typed it up. I understand it was not up to the quality of the other posts. Can you provide some tips to improve my posts?
