When porting from Sprint should I specify my current carrier as Sprint or TMobile? My application is getting denied at the time of porting so I am not sure if I need to chose TMobile as my current carrier? Any suggestions please?
Go to Verizon ... seriously. Do the $300 port per line / $115 CB w/ BF. I was in the same boat with AT&T, did 3 separate orders. All got cancelled within 24 hours. All went from Processing, In Progress and then Cancelled. Called all the numbers nothing helped. They told me to go to an AT&T store and just show them my ID and it would fix everything, NOT. I even made sure to go to a Corporate store hoping that would help. It DIDN'T. Created an account in the store and my orders still got cancelled. I even called ATT from the ATT store and the store manager had no idea what the rep was talking about. BYE BYE ATT.

Not thread crapping. I tried to get in on this deal, I am with Sprint too and my plan ends tomorrow. If your orders are getting cancelled and you want to Port in by tomorrow it's not going to happen with ATT. I need to port in a family so the ATT limit of (2) Promos per account is also annoying. The down side with the Verizon deal is the $300 is a Verizon Reward Card (not a prepaid credit card) you have to use it for Verizon services/purchases and you have to keep the account open for 6 months. Adding 4 or more lines maximizes this deal and I already have FIOS so I am hoping to apply the Reward Cards from this deal towards my FIOS service. Good Luck to you.

"In Progress" is good news, meaning AT&T is in the process of porting your numbers. You won't see your service with your current carrier deactivated until you've received the AT&T SIMs and activate them. That way, you won't be out of cell phone service while the SIMs are in transit.

Go to this site to check the status of the porting: https://www.att.com/port/lnpEntryWeb.do

If there's no problem with the porting, you'll see an estimated time when the porting will complete, and AT&T will send an email saying the SIMs are being shipped.

If there's a problem with the porting, the site will tell you what the problem is. When I ported in using Boost numbers bought on Ebay, the seller messed up the acct#, PIN on a few numbers and I had to correct them, one field at a time.
thanks. the problem is the porting portal says "no information about porting" and its been 10 hrs since i placed order. so, who knows if it will go thru.

i am in exact same situation. my Sprint is ending tomorrow. can you add lines to existing Verizon account for the $300 verizon deal? we already have 6 lines with verizon. i could try to move the 2 sprint ones to vzw tomorrow (if att cancels again). 2 added lines will cost $50/mo on existing account. $300 in 6 mos. if its $300x2 cards for two lines, maybe its worth it? damn too many of these big corps cant run an online store properly.

Got my first bill for $249.62 for 2 lines with a 3GB plan. It was supposed to be $80 per month after Auto pay discount. I was expecting the bill somewhere close to $110 with tax and all the fees.
ATT is charging me $40 for the Access for iPhone 4G LTE w/ Visual Voicemail. I don't even have an iPhone. Any quick way to get this fixed?

Relax, the charge is right. You do not have to have a IPhone for the charge to be valid. BTW, you can use an android on the line in question. Consider it like a cable TV subscription, where you are getting tonnes of the channels while are watching only a couple.

Though I agree on iPhone access charges, irrespective of device you have, they charge access fee, it's just wrongly termed on bill.

However, your bill amount is too high, so you need to verify the charges....

Else attach the screenshot of may be page-2, hide your information (like account number, phone number, etc)...we can check and guide what's wrong

Whatever you decide, you should have SIM's in hand tomorrow to complete the porting....just placing the order doesn't close the line/account at Sprint.....it should be port complete and active on other network....so be careful and all the best...

Mine also sprint billing cycle ends tomorrow, so I already placed two orders with Visible on Saturday and I will have sim tomorrow, so I will complete porting tomorrow...

Other 3 lines I am moving to H20, so that it becomes dead after 30 days....

Sprint pricing often changes at the end of the billing cycle, not the calendar month. YMMV

When I got my first bill I was as confused as you are. Turns out when it comes to naming their services, AT&T uses a very retarded interesting terminological way. The "iPhone 4G LTE w/ Visual Voicemail" is basically just voice service. Your monthly bill should be $40 (60-20)share data plan + $20 voice +$20 voice + uncle sam ≈ $100. If your bill is over $200 maybe they billed you 2 months with some prorated charges.

Did you cancel the lines with Sprint, or not pay the last bill, or they were removed due to the port out?
