Ok, think it the other way, ATT insists that your number is winback number.... dial 611 from your ATT number.. ask to talk to a supervisor......or simply twitter with images of 3 most recent Verizon bills and ask for help that reward team declines your reward claiming it was a win back number, ask them to prove you what is the account number this number used to belong, when that account opened and when that account closed. It truly is not a win back number...Corporate companies care about their reputation over social media...
Thanks for all the suggestions. In retrospect, I should have just gotten a number from eBay. What's ironic is that I actually intended to stay in ATT. Now, I don't think so. They just don't take care of their customers.

ATT is such a shit show. I had to spend 4-5 hours with customer service over 2 days to get all 4 lines activated. Then my account had 2 data plans for some reason, which they had to fix. All I did was port and bring over 4 devices. You would think that would be straightforward.
Wife denied 3x, I was denied 3x. So frustrating fr. Keep getting promises, yea yea yea don't worry we have manually escalated, then next day an email saying order was canceled.

Chatted with ATT rep on two different occasions, one said ATT store can apply the promo, other said no it could be done online to receive $250???? For those who have done it by going to the ATT store, did rep apply the $250 promo to account? Sorry if this has been answered before.

When my orders were cancelled the ATT corporate store also told me its online only and he cannot apply. But, he said since my multiple orders were cancelled will do $250 bill credits for each line applied after 2 months.
Lol I have no intention staying with them. Tried again online, ask to escalated the issue also on Twitter.

You can get a SIM at the store, but if there's no line/phone number assigned by AT&T to that SIM, it's not going to do you any good. The SIMs shipped by AT&T have port-in numbers pre-assigned to them.
oh boy.

nice to see u here as well hpham...u are all over the place on these port in deals...

When did you place the order? TCP also gave me a bunch of bulls asking me to continue to subscribe to AT&T or they're not gonna issue me the cashback.

Be sure to use other cashback sites instead of TCP for this promo.
I placed the order on May 7. Already got the reward cards. Going to swing to VZW now.
