Wife denied 3x, I was denied 3x. So frustrating fr. Keep getting promises, yea yea yea don't worry we have manually escalated, then next day an email saying order was canceled.

Chatted with ATT rep on two different occasions, one said ATT store can apply the promo, other said no it could be done online to receive $250???? For those who have done it by going to the ATT store, did rep apply the $250 promo to account? Sorry if this has been answered before.
Are you planning to try to port the number again? I was denied 4x and going to give up. I don't understand the security issue when I already have an account with ATT.

As far as I know, BF doesn't use the term "Approved". Based on posts in the Sprint thread, the cb starts out as "Verified. Est Payable xx/xx/xx". Then the day before xx/xx/xx it changes to "Verified". On xx/xx/xx it changes to Payable. What is its current status now?

Just curious...
1. When did you place your order?
2. How many lines?
3. What's the cb amount?
4. What was the Estimate Payable Date?
5. Do you still have your lines active with AT&T?

yikes. so worth it to do just one line?

edit: so unless i am missing something....
1 line is minimum $65 per m (+tax fees etc = $75/m). ...keep ~ 3 months....almost a wash...
better to do 2 lines
for 2 lines cheapest plan is Mobile Share Plus 3GB Multi line for $80+taxes (can add corporate discount to bring the bill down by a few $$) - total somewhere between $90-$100/month

will get 2x$250 gift cards in about 45 days after activation (need to call rebate center after 30 days of activation to manually process the rewards). so should be able to cancel in less than 2 months of service

plus any cashback - TCB says $75/line but shows $50/line after the order.. had to submit missing cashback claim and need to wait for 2-3 months. i am going to cancel my account soon and see what happens to these claims.

Can we port out after getting GC after 45 days.
Do we need to wait for 6 months before numbers can be ported out?

After placing the order at ATT, I couldn't find anywhere mentioned about 250$ GC.
Is there a way to check and confirm

Before you go to the store, make sure to set the PIN on each card so it can be processed as a Debit Card. This is done when you activate the $250 GCs.

I went to my Dillons (Krogers) store. I told the clerk at the C.S. counter the amount of the money order I want to buy and she added 88 cents to the total. Then I started swiping each GC and entered its PIN, until the balance due went to 88 cents. I used a $50 GC that had a few bucks left to pay the fee but you can pay with cash.

Put your name on the front of the money order as both "Pay To" and Purchaser, and sign your name. On the back, endorse it as a check, then deposit it at your bank.

Some people said their store has a limit of 4 cards used for each money order. But mine has no such limit; I used one $300 Sprint GC and eight $50 Sprint GCs to buy a $700 money order.
How did you set pin on GC

For AT&T GCs, I set the PIN during the activation process (follow instructions that come with the card). For Sprint GCs, I added the cards to MyPrepaidCenter.com account then used the SET PIN function. Those are physical cards. I have no experience with virtual cards.

I currently have one number ready to port to AT&T asap while I am waiting for sprint GC for 2nd number (my main line). Can I transfer another temporary number from ebay and then replace it with my main number without impacting eligibility for the GC?

Number change with port-in should not impact the eligibility for GC. In my case, i had to order new numbers first due to issue with online ordering system. Then after receiving the sim cards I had to call porting team and replace these new numbers with my port-in numbers. Still got GCs.

There is no fee for number change during the first 30 days of activation of a line. After that it's $35, which could get waived too.

I got my reward cards for 2 lines now. Any good options to switch lines to another provider and get some rewards. I see Visible pull off their offer recently for port in BYOD line.

Ahh that's good to know. Can I then port one number and add a new number for 2nd line (and port in later once I have that + sims)?
