Also, in most cases, after your new carrier submit the port-in request, you may have to call Tracfone's porting department to release your number otherwise the process would stall
what does "releasing the number" do exactly? let's say i'll be porting out 3 weeks later; i can just call them up now and have them "release it", so it doesn't cause an issue later?

My SIM Cards just shipped. I am impressed till now. Cards shipped in under 24 hours of ordering. Delivery data is 17th. I have taken the 3GB Shaed Data plan only. I will try to get someone on Chat. Its impossible to get through the bot!
1. When they shipped my SIMs, FedEx didn't picked them up in TX until around 10PM, and they were delivered the next morning around 9AM.
2. When the Chat bot asks what you want to Chat about, enter "$250 Reward" and you'll get through to a live rep.

My acct #1 had the autopay credited starting with the 1st month. With my acct #2, activated on 5/27, the bill was not generated until 6/27 and included two months (5/27-6/23 and 6/24-7/23). Autopay was NOT credited for 1st month. See attachment. I didn't bother challenging them because 1) the terms of service said the autopay could take 2-3 months to apply and 2) I made enough money off them.

Post a picture of your details bill and I'll see if I can make any sense of it, or you could call/chat with a rep and ask.
Thank you for your response. I reached out to them and they had to post credits for 3 things:
1) removed charges for the time when the lines weren't even activated
2) remove all the charges for the cancelled line as that wasn't even activated by me
3) Adjust my plan charges as they were for 2 lines and now I cancelled 1 line

He told me that the autopay discount will be applied retrospectively next month. That doesn't seem to be the case in your bill though!

Got a chat rep. She first said only unlimited plans qualify. I asked her to confirm because that is not on the terms. She took a few minutes and confirmed.

Maybe they would've applied the autopay discount on the next bill, but I didn't stick around to find out. My one and only bill was for 1st month and 2nd month. I received my two GCs on the 50th day and bugged out.

BTW, why did you cancel your 2nd line? It would've made you more money than the 1st line.

So far, nobody in this thread reported getting the email to claim the reward, no matter how long they waited after activation.

Well, as expected, my two lines were put in separate data buckets. I called to get it resolved, pretty painless.

I had ordered it with a new number hoping to replace the number later with another from Sprint that I recently received GC for.

After calling/chatting from pillar to post, couldn't get anyone to confirm that it would still be eligible for GC. A couple of reps suggested cancelling that line and adding new line with port in. So I cancelled that one and when I tried to add another one, it would still send the one-time code to my cancelled number!! Chatted again and was advised to create new account with new line and then merge it with current account. So now need to wait for sim for that one.

Sprint deal now seems like a breeze compared to AT&T. I was going to move to AT&T internet with their 1gig deal. Now no chance Smilie

AT&T deal is troublesome at the beginning, but it's a lot easier to collect the GCs than with Sprint.

Someone had a "life hack" for using the cards in Apple pay to transfer the balance to a debit card. Can someone repost it? Otherwise Venmo is the only way out of the cards

I took my cards to Dillons (Krogers) and bought money orders with them. Four cards for a $1000 m.o., paid 88 cents for the fee. Two cards for a $500 m.o., another 88 cents. Deposited them to my checking account. Easy peasy.

Go to this site: https://www.att.com/checkmyorder/activations/activateWireless.rt?cjevent=31edd3ef8ff011ea808400340a2... [att.com]

Enter one of your phone numbers and zip code. It'll show all the numbers in your order. Select one or all of them to activate.

Already passing 45-days mark and there is no email for rebate promotion. Chatted with AT&T reward center. An employee called Carlos indeed located my order but refused to add my 2 lines to rebate tracking system, as he insisted they could not manually add rebate before 60 days. I knew it is a lie but he would not budge. What are my other venues to escalate the issue? I don't want to pay a 3rd-month bill.
I ran into the same issue with a phone representative. She claimed that she had to follow the customer service protocol regardless of what the website says. It seems like this is a bit of a luck of the draw situation. I basically just had to keep badgering the Reward Center until I got the desired results. Chat seems like the best avenue due to the shorter wait times.
