Not sure I understand what you said there.
These are numbers I use. Gone to store to sort it out. If order gets canceled.. the promotion can be availed using the same order ( account number of that order) the rep will direct you to store. You have to get them to note it on account. There is a start in store finish online option SISFO in the offer terms. I got the store to give them the in store transactions ( which act as order number) . The Ecom and store rep spoke in conference. The Ecom rep noted them on the account.. I have the digital trail on the account.. so I think I would get the rebate.
Now this is ymmv .. but I saw the offer article as they say when the rep was looking

I have 4 lines to port from Sprint. Since you only get gift cards for 2 per account, I have read that many are doing 2 separate accounts. Can you combine the accounts later? I'm just wondering because I wanted to get the 25% teacher discount, and it's cheaper the more lines you add.
I read their internal article and it allows for other discounts. So it seems stackable ask the Ecom folks to verify

I ported 6 lines from AT&T to H2O without any problems. Did the same with 3 Sprint numbers.
Wanted to know why you selected H2O ? What's their min plan .
Please let me know , out of 4 lines I plan to use only 1 and other 3 are no use

Thanks

I just wanted to port the numbers out of AT&T and let them die. For that, I just needed to use the $1 H2O SIM and didn't have to buy any airtime.

I also bought some SpeedTalk Trial SIMs for $5 each that are loaded with 30 days and $5 worth of service. But they'll automatically enroll you in recurring monthly service and you can to contact them to cancel.

This is not an acceptable fix to their broken "fraud prevention" systems. They need to warn first - "your order is subject to automatic cancellation in 24 hours unless you take the following steps" - all of which should be do-able online.

1. I bought the "yellow" (not the black) H2O SIM at Best Buy, it's also available at other places.
2. Go to H2O port-in web site: https://www.h2owirelessnow.com/transfer
3. After you enter the H2O SIM number on the screen below, the screen will refresh and present the choices for airtime plan. Select the H2O LTE Minute $10 choice, but LEAVE THE AIRTIME PIN BOX BLANK (it's Optional), and click Submit.
4. You'll get an email confirming the port request, but you will NOT get an email saying whether or not the port was successful. You'll need to check your account with the previous carrier to verify that the line is gone.

Proof: AT&T will no longer offer prorated credits to those who cancel certain services before the end of their billing period, as spotted by Ars Technica. The change will go into effect on January 14th, 2019, and will apply to DirecTV, U-verse TV, AT&T Phone, AT&T Internet, and Fixed Wireless Internet accounts.
I have confirmed this with multiple Att reps. as well as friends. I believe Hpham 53 is wrong or is part of the exemptions or a outlier.

Apparently your source of info is wrong, or I'm "special" Big Grin. Today I received an AT&T Debit Card for the $38.01 credit balance in my acct #1, closed on 6/27, billing period ended 7/7.

BTW, this card is different from the AT&T VISA Gift Card. You can activate/register this card at the web site on the back of the card, and transfer the money to your bank account without a fee.

Thanks. Since my own port to ATT was cancelled, I will start to port to H20 to let the lines die. BTW, do you have to create a H20 account to do this?

Here it is: cancellation email says :
We couldn't verify this order 23-79949001xxxxxxx really came from you

For your security, we canceled it. Don't worry. If there was a hold on your card, we'll release the funds. Let us help you reorder your item(s). Visit an AT&T store. Be sure to bring your identification.

Even if you call back office, they cannot help to say upload a scan of drivers license etc.. the order gets cancelled. You call again they direct you to try curb pick up. But the online order has no curb pick up. Then they say go to store .. they put you through hoops that if you get it right would work..

Anyone have any luck applying the FAN discount to the Mobile Share Value ? I have the Single line Mobile Share Value with a FAN discount. I've used their online tool to try to add another line and the price calculator suggests that the FAN discount will NOT be carried over.
