Verizon is offering customers with existing non-committed 100/100 plan a free upgrade to 200/200 plan for the same monthly cost of $39.99 without additional commitments.
To receive this free upgrade, login to MyVerizon dashboard
here [verizon.com]. Then click "Order Now" under the black "mix & match on Fios" tile. Click your existing 100/100 speed, then click "More Speeds" and select 200/200 for a month cost of $39.99.
Complete the order and you'll now have double the speed for "free".
Please note that if your G1100 or G3100 router is connected to the ONT via COAX, your order will not be processed unless a technician visits your location to switch it over to Ethernet. COAX on the ONT only supports speeds up to 100/100 and anything faster will require the router to be connected directly into the Ethernet port on the ONT.

I was able to drop TV and switch to 200/200 for $50/mo month-to-month, with no termination fee and the service is speed testing consistently at 300/300. May not be the great deal that everyone else is getting but an extra $10/mo for 300/300 is fine with me, plus I'm saving a bundle by dropping my triple play bundle.
As of late, the main issue was the rental fees.
so a $75 triple play price ends up being a lot more especially if you have to rent all those boxes.
Modem fee is about $10-12
Set top box, same thing.
I finally canceled the fios triple play and stayed with internet only for the $40 per month.
I am helping out other family members so they can save on their monthly bill.
One of my uncles is paying $180 a month for triple Play with optimum. 2 tv boxes and 1 modem. Ridiculous.
I have purchased 3 of these on Ebay since I have internet only and wanted to avoid that fee.
They have been working fine. Down the line, I would like to purchase a router that has more range but for now I am good.
The router in one of the locations is in the first floor. It reaches to the basement, 2nd floor and the attic.
