Verizon is offering customers with existing non-committed 100/100 plan a free upgrade to 200/200 plan for the same monthly cost of $39.99 without additional commitments.
To receive this free upgrade, login to MyVerizon dashboard
here [verizon.com]. Then click "Order Now" under the black "mix & match on Fios" tile. Click your existing 100/100 speed, then click "More Speeds" and select 200/200 for a month cost of $39.99.
Complete the order and you'll now have double the speed for "free".
Please note that if your G1100 or G3100 router is connected to the ONT via COAX, your order will not be processed unless a technician visits your location to switch it over to Ethernet. COAX on the ONT only supports speeds up to 100/100 and anything faster will require the router to be connected directly into the Ethernet port on the ONT.

For those that need to switch to ethernet for faster speeds, Moca adapters work really well. I'm using the goCoax brand Moca 2.5 adapters there were ~ $100 for a pair.
FWIW, there's a (limited) first-responder discount for fire/ems, emt/nurse, teacher professionals. There's Connections for those with applicable companies/organizations.

Was tempted to do 400 for $60 but since this is still no contract I'll wait to upgrade if I see slowness.
Update - been doing some speed tests and it looks like a common thing for the 200 to be closer to 300. All speed tests are showing between 280-300mbps.
my current set-up was 100/100 at 67.99$. When I clicked as suggested by OP, it did show upgrade to 200/200 but kept the cost same.
I had to chat with representative and he said I was eligible for the 39.99 price(49.99 - 10$ for autopay with debit card/checking account).
He placed order for me online and its done for.
So went down from 67.99$ a month to 39.99$ and doubled the speed. No commitment lock as well. Good deal.
thanks OP.
figuring my first year promo rate was expiring
but instead the system seems to have extended
my month to month (no contract) for a 2nd year;

i just thought i'd share this with the current
fios deal thread in case people form last year
were shopping to make a new account to
capture the latest new sub deal...
you may not have to.
UPDATE - verizon deceptive practices...
despite clearly showing 24mo at $40-$5
fios jack up my 13th month rate by $15
so i'm in the process of cancelling and
re-signing under spouse...
when is verizon going to realize it's
costing them more in overhead to
keep jerking us around every year.
Upgraded to 1 giga for $10 extra (with 2 year commitment). TV plan and phone stayed the same, internet speed upgraded to 1 gigabit.
Rep gave me 50% off on upgrade fee, but won't completely waive it, so I had to pay a one time $74.50 upgrade fee.
I was also given $10 off monthly after I switch auto-pay to a checking account, so monthly will be around $127.
