Western Digital has the 1TB WD Black SN750 NVMe 2280 M.2 [westerndigital.com] for $134.99 - 10% email subscription coupon = $121.49. OOS

To get 10% coupon, hover your cursor over the "Shop", "Explore", or "Support" tabs/buttons on the top of the page, and it will show a blue ribbon saying "Get 10% OFF your next order. Sign up for our newsletter and receive a coupon for your next order."

It's a big honking YMMV buying from WD, because WD has been crap about sending out people's previous orders, and it shows a 1-2 week backorder right now (which is probably much much bigger). But if you want to get in line and take a shot, here you go. You could try to stack other rebate programs on it.

This is lower than previous frontpage deals but it does not belong on front page due to this huge YMMV.
  • Given your choices with both black and blue drives, with the coupon and if you can wait, maybe it's a worthy deal. I see people thumbing like crazy haha. Hope it helps you and you don't wait too long.
edit: I instead tried to use the 15% student discount coupon, and it did not work, so it's just the 10% plus any rebate programs.

edit 2: ALSO you could use this 10% coupon on the 1TB Blue 3D NAND (2.5" or 1TB) M.2 2280 [westerndigital.com] SATA SSDs for $119 - 10% = $107.10 (or less w/ rebate programs). >Now $103.49 e.g. if you have two M.2 slots but the second uses SATA. Check carefully for compatibility.

I think they meant m.2's. So it's not m.2 Sport or anything like that.

Very tempting but I really want to wait for 1TB m.2s to drop to around $100.

Got the 10% coupon immediately. Applied it successfully and the order went right through. Then received an e-mail immediately that it is on back-ordered and I will not be charged until it ships. So if it goes through, then great deal!

This has been front page at $135 twice in the last couple weeks. If this ships, this is a great deal.

Depends on the airflow in your case. I always recommend a heat sink. You can get one for around $5 on Amazon.

There are a few 1TBs going for around $110 now, but not of this caliber. This is a top-tier drive. If the order goest through, this is truly a SD!

Excuse my ignorance but what is the 1TB m.2s? I haven't heard of that form factor. You have a link? Thanks!
I think they meant m.2's. So it's not m.2 Sport or anything like that.
