I have this exact blower. It's only good for blowing dirt off off the driveway. It's worthless for leaves on the grass. FYI

Agree 100%. Also should note that it is incredibly loud-like it screams at you.

I would +1 the comments that this is underpowered. I replaced it with this one and while it's electric, it whips the pants off this thing seven days a week.

It's intended for use on hard surfaces, not grass.

You really need 400 CFM or better for clearing leaves of of grass. 300 will barely work but you'll take far longer with it. Anything under 300 is for hard surfaces.

Just my opinion but I've tried several levels and this is the lesson I learned.

Anyone have any experience with the P2180? The 280 CFM one.

I actually love this blower, despite it being "underpowered".
I have 2 Stihl gas blowers, an older pre-EPA regulation model and a new post-EPA regulation model.
The old Stihl is the most powerful by far, but the Ryobi is not far behind the new Stihl.
Due to EPA regulations on emissions and sound level, the new gas blowers are weak.

This Ryobi works great for the garage, sawdust, dirt, leaves, etc. and around the pool, and for all kinds of basic blowing (grass, etc. off driveway). It is super light and the ON button stays on without you holding it.

I use the Stihl for blowing wet leaves, but I use the Ryobi for almost everything else because of its ease, weight and sound (not too bad)..

I wish Ryobi would come out with more 2x battery devices like the 2x battery miter saw, I have it and it is great. They could make a backpack blower with 2 batteries that was a lot more powerful, same with lawn mower. I refuse to buy the 40v tools when I already have a bunch of tools and batteries on the 18v system.

I have that one and hate it. It is underpowered also. It takes too much work to get anything blown.....

I tried to keep everything 18V but it appears the best way to get a decent Ryobi blower is to get into 40V.

They do have a dual battery backpack blower but its 40V.
