Or you can be like me who has a perfectly good natural gas supply, but is switching to induction because of how much less heat wash it gives off in the kitchen and how fast and precise induction is.

If you prefer to get it from Home Depot, they are not so picky about price matching other retailers via a chat session. Just provide the links.

It's practically criminal that induction is so stupid expensive. Electric sucks so hard, but it's that or a gas tank in my back yard. Or paying out the butt for induction, which I am not interested in doing.

I have bought appliances from appliances connection in the past and had nothing but a great experience. At one point I thought I had found a lower price at lowes (on the stove I was purchasing), even though they could not verify it (in-store only pricing), they matched it and threw in a 4 year warranty for free.

I hear ya man....

when i redid my kitchen myself i knew wife would want a slide in, and the induction price killed me...i agonized for weeks over the difference, but ultimately i went induction since seemed butload of work to do everything and still have crappy element burners. It really was worth it though, rather have gas but this is as close as it gets. Warm up time is super fast.

Think about hot plates though, i was gonna go that route if went with traditional electric

it's worth it as the cooking something then having your kid put their hand on the burner right after in front of company then screaming to freak out the company never gets old.

(don't do this after high heat cooking though for a long time as glass still gets pretty warm for a short bit just from the pan)

I will add (because i thought this was hot @#!@ when i picked ours up few years ago on xmas deals...odd seems prices haven't gone down either) the samsung burner leds that make it look like a flame. Not all it's cracked up to be...i thought it was cool first week, after that i don't even notice them. ...just if you're considering the various models don't get all gah gah about that.
