Looks like a good deal. Price is still dropping (though only by a few cents each day).

Anyone have experience with Shun knifes? Some of the Amazon reviews state that their started rusting after a just a little bit of usage. As much as I would like to say that it was poor care on the reviewers part, I don't have any experience with Shun products.

VG-Max has high carbon content so it will retain and edge better than other steel but it will also be more prone to rust. hand wash and dry your blade right after use and it won't rust.

I've been using a set of Shun knives for 10 years now and never had any issues. Don't be an idiot and put them through the dishwasher or use for prying. They do need to be sharpened about once a year, depending on use.
