HBO Max is free for the life of your AT&T 1 Gbps Internet plan. If you downgrade your Internet plan, then you'd probably lose HBO Max.

You call in and set a cancellation date like 4-5 days away. Then you setup a new service online in her name. Since your address already has service they will make you call in. Just tell them you are moving in and want service on the first day (day after you setup to cancel).

You have to wait until your fiber service is installed and active. Once you're up and running, you'll need to log into your AT&T account at https://att.com/my and you'll see a section like I attached to activate HBO Max and login.

When I signed up I got first card within a couple of weeks. I got an email first, then a physical card in mail. The second 100 dollar card came 6 weeks after. Same process. Confirm online after email, then physical card in mail.

Also, just for reference. I signed up online. Received 100 gift card offer. It offered me another 100 gift card if I signed up right away. It was 50 with HBO plus another 10 for modem/router. I called customer service and they took the model fee away. So basically, 49.99 a month for 1Gb fiber with HBO and 200 in visa gift cards. Great deal

I wouldn't use AT&T for anything. When the merged with Direct TV they scammed me out of $300 at the end of the contract. Absolutely the worst, then sent me to collections for it. BEWARE!!! Trying to speak to customer service was a waste of time, even when iI proved them wrong they paused and kept repeating that I owed them money. BTW my credit score is 820

Anyone received the second $100 gift card? When I signed up last week I had the regular internet-sign-up offer for a $100 gift card and a second offer applied to the order with promo code ACTNOW for $100.

So far I've only received emails for the notification, claim, and approval of the first $100 rewards card. When does the second $100 come in?
