10 bucks isnt for the router, its not even for the modem - its for the Fiber to ethernet converter box that you cannot buy. Thats why even if you have your own compatible modem/router they can still charge you the $10.

A note on the included HBO Max. It is not possible to access HBO max through any Roku device, nor do my LG OLED TV support HBO Max. Amazon Fire device are also excluded. Apparently Roku and HBO cannot agree on fees for including HBO Max through their devices. This means that I am stuck with HBO on my PC and phone. EEK! Confused Mad

Yes there was an article about that on CNET. It's funny that when Peacock streaming service came on, they had an agreement with LG and my OLED TV picked it up right away. But like you said, they're fighting over the $ for the popular streaming services to offer HBO Max. Just connect your computer via HDMI to your TV or receiver. Not the ideal solution, but it works. I'm also hoping they increase the quality to 4k sooner than later.

So get this.. that hard credit check never occurred so I've been pretty happy about that. Been on fiber for almost two weeks now and no issues so far aside ditching the att gateway for wireless and use my own router.

Do they still put one of those ONTs inside your house? And does it have to be near a certain side of the house or anything. And was there an installation fee?

I signed up about 4 months ago. I got the first email to claim the $100 after a few weeks and then a second claim email a month or so later.

I ended up using the visa rebate cards at a good grocery store on a big trip when I was able to use it all at once and then pay the remaining balance separately.

Yes, ONT is installed. A little bit of an eyesore but it doesn't bother me much. Not much options for me being in a townhouse. Basically they installed the ont inside by the back sliding door in the living room. Tech then passed a cable through an existing coaxial hole to my bed room where I have my desk.

My tech just plugged into the ethernet plug I already had in my wall and hooked up a modem/router. They didn't install one of those white boxes to the wall. My iPad is only gettting around 190 down and 70 up. Do I even have fiber installed? I thought up and down where the same with fiber. My s10+ phone gets 346 down and 72 up.

I have Amazon Fire device and side loaded HBO Max App, then use the code on TV to log into my ATT account. I've been watching HBO Max on my TV throgh Amazon Fire without any problems.

I got the 2nd claiming reward email several days after I received the 1st card in mailbox. I chose 2nd to be Virtual card for fast delivery to my email.

Was able to add 1 virtual reward card to Apple pay. Now I am wondering if there's cash back for using these Visa cards shopping in a certain store?
