LG 86UN8570PUC Alexa Built-in 86" 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV (2020)

$1830.

Seems to be the lowest price at Amazon. Any comments on this TV, especially when comparing it to the 2019 version which is selling at $1699 at Costco?

I've been looking at both of these models for a couple days. The Amazon one has the a3 processor (couldn't find any notable differences except for some mentions of speed upgrades taken from descriptions from folks who have the OLED models). Both have smart capabilities, both have AI (check LG's site), both have IPS displays (lower contrast than a VA, so think worse black levels), and both have the same inputs. The Amazon one is the newer 2020 model with the faster processor, that's the only difference I could find when looking. I went with the Costco model to take advantage of the price and warranty.

This one vs older Costco one. I think I like this one better because it has HDMI 2.1 which means it can output 4k @120hz which matters for people who game on TV with PC*'s or next gen consoles

*Check if your gfx card supports HDMI 2.1
