Sure, but if you can instead of adding to your floorstanders try mounting in front height position on the wall above your front towers, angled down towards MLP. Will result in much better height effects than reflective
These are killer speakers. I have 3 pairs in my Atmos setup - front Atmos, and side and rear surround. I paid $500 for each pair, too!
Holy crap.. what kind of receiver are you using? I am guessing a 15.2 receiver... those cost like 20k or something..

Why are they sold out in many stores? Are any new models releasing?

If you're looking for a cheaper speakers for atmos and are fine mounting them, I'm running Polk OWM3s for a 5.1.4 ($90/pair) and they're solid.
Normal Speakers will not work as Atmos Enabled Speakers.

Anyone looking for something cheaper I own 4 of the Pioneer SP-T22A-LR Dolby Atmos Add-On Speakers.

Can someone help to understand , my receiver don't have the aTMOS plug points. So can I connect them to the front speakers these 2 and still have Atmos effect ?

Front speakers I have RP280
No that will not work. You need a Atmos enable receiver to get Atmos sound.

Tell us your receiver make and model number to find out if these would work or not. Front speakers doesnt matter here.

LOL, Are you saying you have no setup yet and trying to start out by making a decision on Atmos speakers first?

You do have an Atmos enabled receiver so these should work fine. Seems like you have a 7.2 speaker config so you can have 5 ear level speaker (2 fronts, center, 2 surround backs, 2 subs) and these these for 2 Atmos height channels.

Now most modern AVRs will let you set up 4 Atmos height channels to get the full effect but yours doesnt have it. That being said, if you buy these speakers, you can use them now and later when you upgrade the AVR.

Well keep in mind that these "enabled" object based(Atmos) modules.
The preferred method is in ceiling(preferably full range) speakers for best performance.

So depending on your current speakers, instead of buying these modules + a new more expensive receiver, that money might better spent upgrading your current ones.

That may improve the quality of your sound much more than adding these alternatives modules to entry to mid level speakers.

Just food for thought.

Trying to decide between these and the RP 500 series. I have a pair of polk signature series towers and currently have pioneer upfiring but they're overpowered by the polk. Will these pair well, think its better to get these or worth it to spend more for the 500 series?

I'm in the same boat. Maybe instead of wasting people's time you can just help him out

Have you try turning up the levels on your pioneer add-on speakers to match the level of your other speakers. That what I did with my pioneer add-one and it make a big difference. If you don't know to do that check your receiver's manual.
