That is fraud. Best case is it's extremely unethical and will only cause HD to get even more strict and make it more difficult for regular people to return stuff. Please don't try this.
Essentially, yes. The last few times the battery starter kit has been the 3.0ah HP batteries vs these regular 4.0ah batteries. But, these 4.0ah are at least the higher end p197 batteries vs the older p108. Better internals/cells.
Yes, you can do this with just a circular saw and a drill. Few tips:
- Make sure you pre-drill your holes or else your wood will split when you put in your screws
- Cedar pickets are affordable and they're naturally good for outdoor applications
In for one with the p237 (impact driver). the batteries weren't in stock at my store so I had to ship them to my house for free. I can pick up the tool in store today. Been waiting for this
Same for me, been wanting an impact driver and more batteries is always good.
Can anyone confirm if these P197 batteries have the extra contact on the back for communicating with brushless tools? They sure don't make it easy to find out. TYIA
It is a variant of it... Not as many free tools as previous offers, but it is the 4.0 Ah instead of the 3.0. Looks like the individual tools are again pro-rated should you cancel/return the batteries
Not as many free tools because you guys have been abusing the hell out of it by returning the batteries and keeping the tools.

I'm a complete novice to DIY and power tools, so I have a bit of a dumb question. Supposing I wanted to try and built a raised garden bed with wood plank sides, would that 6-1/2" circular saw be a sufficient tool for the job? I assume I'm just buying a bunch of 2"x4"s and cutting them to certain lengths to lay them out in a big rectangle and maybe screwing them together. (I already have a Ryobi drill from another deal last year.)

These are not HP batteries. only the HP batteries has contacts to boost brushless tool's performance.
I just picked up the sprayer. The reviews on the sprayer are mixed. I want to use it on my fence and siding. PSI is a bit low for that, but folks in the reviews are saying it can be done..
As a backup, I also placed a second order with another tool in case the sprayer doesnt work, I'll still be able to return it and get in on this deal.
Since folks are reporting individual items cant be canceled, can individual items be returned? So for instance if I want to keep both orders, but return the batteries from one -- can I do that? Will they just refund me the pro-rated cost of the battery? Is this a good way to get some of the other tools included in this deal as well?

Not trying to talk you out of the deal just showing you there are options. Proof of concept.
