My "aluminum" anniversary is coming up. I think the wife would be pissed if I went with the foil I had in mind

Emailed Allclad and sent pics, and was told that the non-stick coating wears off this way from normal use, and it's not covered under warranty. I asked if they have a option for repair/refurbishment, and this was their answer:
"Unfortunately we do not resurface or repair our cookware. We are hosting a online sale if you are interested in replacing the pan. The link is below..."
I have the tendency to pay a significant premium for items that advertise with a "lifetime warranty," but I would advise avoiding Allclad unless you're buying from Costco.

d7 --> c4 --> coppercore. with some exceptions ltd and mc2 can be better
d5 pans are overall best performance / $ ratio if RESPONSIVENESS id not your concern, such as cream based sauces, etc..
