Good price, great watch. Rumored to be discontinued and has been replaced with something that isn't as nice, IMO. All brushed, very tool-y aesthetic. Bracelet is very solid. You can buy a genuine Citizen ratcheting extension clasp that fits this perfectly on the bay for about $70, which sounds like a lot, but is totally worth it IMO.
It is a good watch and great value. Watch people seem to respect it.
My issue is the dial. Clearly not a formal watch but even too over the top for a casual watch. Could be a tool watch but all those tiny numbers make it hard to read. I also prefer a lighter watch with nylon band for actual work.
So who is this watch actually for? I can't think of a scenario where this is the right watch.
I had this watch and it was great. This is a fantastic price for it. Too bad I bought that blue angels one a couple of weeks ago if not I would get this now.
good watch. Takes an hour or 2 to fully charge the battery when taken out after a long time. I tried to understand on how to use the dial to calculate measurement but too complicated.

I wear this watch more than any other watch that I own. It works in my "scenario."

Spot on here, although I wouldn't recommend replacing the clasp. It is already very good quality in general, and is better than just about anything you'll find on a Seiko under $500.

With the GMT hand and slide rule bezel, this is ostensibly a pilot's watch. Like almost all other pilot's watches, dive watches, field watches, etc., most buyers are unlikely to use the specialty functions in the endeavor for which they are designed.
Your personal preferences are noted, but my preference (and that of many others) is for a bracelet rather than a band. So this would be a good choice for someone who wants a GMT tool watch with a decent bracelet at a good price.

Very solid watch with a working slide rule. It is solar powered. I have the black PVD version for 13+ years no problems besides some PVD wear. Setting it is a little weird with hour and day on same pull out detent.

Edit: the other info says 22mm band
