Thumbs up thanks, just got a free line and 50 percent off on the one plus 8 5g. I'm on simple choice, called customer service and had no problem with doing this.
How much you paid for One plus 8?

Thanks .. I'm in the same position as you. Did they simply tell you that you were eligible or were they able to hook you up with a free line as well?

So I'd need to port in a line to get any offers on the new phone but have been offered 50% off a XS or a SE by adding the free line.

I used the T-Mobile app on my iPhone and chat feature. Confirmed that I got one free line because I already had two. I also have one "this one on us" promo line previously. I did not lose it. Only had to pay $30 ($10 for the SIM card and then $20 for the activation)
So you have 2 free lines & 2 paid line on "This One on Us" plan?

Maybe someone can clarify, but if you get this line, other free lines can be negated.
I have a free tablet line so I never bite on these free phone line promos.

Added via text and was told to place an order on website for a SIM ($10) to waive the activation fee ($20). Bill credits will be applied to offset the $20 monthly charge for the new line since it is added during the promo period, making the line free.
Same here. Except I bought a phone so free sim
And no "assisted/activation " fee since I did it myself on the app

Here is my story..

I called Tmobile and asked about the promotion. The rep said it's a B1G1 free line. He even asked his supervisor and said that was the promotion.

I ended up downloading the Tmobile app and doing a chat. I asked if I can add a free line under the promotion. The rep said, SURE, let me check and bam, 5 seconds later, I qualified. I now added the iPhone SE for $8/mo.

What a deal!

T-Force just added my New Free Line and said the monthly fee will be credited within 2 billing cycles............he did not charge me any fees and even offered to credit the $10 sim card fee if I needed one, which I didn't as I have plenty spare lol.
Wow, so now I have 7 voice line with unlimited data & 1 tablet line with 6gb data for $120 + tax etc = $146

This is so damn confusing.

I've read at least a hundred posts and everyone has conflicting information.

Porbably wait a few days till the dust settles

How many lines did you have before the offer? I'm using Tmobile app too and the rep told me that I don't qualify because I already have 6 lines.
