How dare they try to make a one-time $30 in exchange for giving you a FREE line, Mr. Entitled.

This weekend, T-Mobile is giving away a FREE VOICE LINE! Any T-Mobile plan is eligible (even Simple Choice). New customers need to have two paid lines to get the free line. Current customers with at least two paid lines can just add a free line.

***This is an EXTREMELY RARE No-Stipulation Line (like the free lines offered back in 2016 & 2017...)

If you're new to T-Mobile and you'd like to stack this to get the 4 lines for $120 on the Magenta plan, which comes with a free Netflix account, you'll need to go to T-Mobile today/tonight (Thursday, June 25th) to start/port a 3-line account on the Magenta plan. T-Mobile is currently running a 3rd line free. All 3 lines will be $120, which includes tax.

THEN....

Starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, you can add a 4th line to your plan for FREE! This will give you 4 lines on the T-Mobile Magenta plan, which comes with all taxes/fees, unlimited data and a free Netflix account, for $120. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS... GO TO T-MOBILE NOW TO START THE 3-LINE DEAL FIRST.... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FOUR LINES THINKING THE 4TH LINE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE FREE TOMORROW... IT WON'T. 3 lines TODAY, 1 line TOMORROW!

As always, start-up fees may or may not be charged, and can come to $10 per SIM and $20 per activation per line. Ask to see if any of these may be waived.

Details about the 4th line free will be on the website tomorrow (Friday, June 26th), but don't wait to start the first 3 lines today/tonight!

im currently going through online chat. i had to pay for the sim card and delivery, around 23 bucks.

the rep is currently processing the order and adding the line to my account.

for reference: i have tmobile one. ported in a number to get a free line. so now i have 2 paid lines and 2 free lines.
You mean you can get two free lines if you port two lines?

Just got off the phone with a tmobile rep. Since the line i was porting in was already using tmobile service (TING) i didn't qualify for trading in my note 9 and getting $700 off of apple pro max. The cheapest phone they had was the Samsung galaxy a71 5g, with 50% off making $12.50 monthly payments for 24 months. So I took that deal as it didn't seem to bad. I guess if I didn't port in a number I could have gotten a better deal on a phone, but my goal was to get my prepaid line for free while keeping the number and upgrading the phone (currently have an amazon fire phone).

My buddy just ported over 4 lines to T-Mobile 3 weeks ago (this 3rd line is free and has Magenta for $140 total).

Can he today add 1 more line (the 5th line then) entirely for free? Or does he also have to pay for a 5th line and then get the 6th line for free?

I was able to add a free 4th line on my Simple Choice acc with using Tmobile App. But no luck on free iPhone 11 with Trade-in, she said it requires porting.

How long did it take you?

I'm on chat with tmobile and they said there is a cap on free lines and checking.

I have 2 free and trying to add this as a 3rd free line.

Edit. Um they said I can only have 2.

So I wasn't getting anywhere with Twitter (waiting for hours), so I went through the app on my phone and did a call to customer service. Wait time was like a minute at most. Said I wanted to get the new free line and add the iPhone SE (50% off deal). The CSR was very friendly and was aware of both, checked my account and verified I was eligible. I also made sure this wouldn't impact my heavily grandfathered and promo'd up the butt existing plan, and she confirmed nothing would change.

I had to pay full tax (7%) on the phone MSRP ($28), but she waived the activation and SIM charge without me even asking, since I had mentioned I couldn't get Twitter to respond. Very nice of her. Also got free ground shipping on the phone. Signed the EIP and should hopefully get the phone soon. Since I have an SC plan, I still need to pay $3.18/month in taxes/fees for the free line, but that plus the ~$8.50 or so for the iPhone SE means we are getting both for about $11/month more. Even though we don't need the extra voice line now, it's nice to have just in case.

I always get nervous doing any changes on my account as I'm paranoid someone will break something, and I didn't get anything yet showing the free line or iPhone promotion, but the rep seemed pretty knowledgeable so I'm thinking/hoping she did it all correctly. Yay!

Same here. Except I bought a phone so free sim
And no "assisted/activation " fee since I did it myself on the app
I was wondering if this would work or not. I've added free lines before and had the promo applied automatically, but those were promotions you could find listed online. Has anyone found this promo on the t-mobile site? I only see it for new customers.

I ended up paying the $20 through chat. If anything I paid to have them say I am eligible. I have 6 lines on T-Mobile One.

Here is what I was told in chat:
Quote :
2020 Line on Us Promo 3 is a promotion For a limited time in all markets, existing customers with at least 2 or more paid voice lines who activate at least one more voice line will receive one voice line free (via monthly bill credits) when they choose a qualifying T-Mobile ONE, Simple Choice, Magenta, T-Mobile Essentials, or Business Unlimited rate Plan.

Upon checking your account, I can see here that you are eligible in adding a line for free.

You will receive a text message within 24 hours of qualification confirming your enrollment into the promotion.

I was excited reading this deal until I saw the word "Exclusions". Damn T-Mobile for letting military people down on this deal.
Came here to check for this - good to know, but I don't know that it's a let-down. I guess it depends on the lines. I have 3 lines plus pay a little extra for Netflix premium, it's $95/month. If I add another line, it's another $5 or $10 (don't remember). Still a great deal.

Thank you OP!

I have simple choice with four lines plus three free lines from past free line offers. I was able to add a fourth free line.

I had to pay $30.60 (via credit card) for a new SIM. I asked if I could use a SIM I already had, but they would not allow that.

I pay about $4 for each of my free lines for taxes so my monthly bill will go up about $4.

I have the 55 plus plan (currently have 2 lines) and wondering if I can add another line for free. Does anyone know if this is possible?

One thing I'm confused on is that. Isn't the hookup linked to the account and not the plan?

It's linked to both now. They call everything "grandfathered" these days. Which means you lose all of your discounts when migrating to a new plan. T Mobile is very inconsistent on their deals. Seems dependent on the customer service agent's willingness to bargain, which is extremely rare. TMo tries to average the price per line to make decisions on free lines. But this should have been given to us based on what I've seen in the past.

The new CEO is an idiot. I miss John Legere.

What I have noticed are those with more phone lines seem to be getting the best deals, regardless of the number of free lines they already have on their plans. Makes no sense.
