How dare they try to make a one-time $30 in exchange for giving you a FREE line, Mr. Entitled.

This weekend, T-Mobile is giving away a FREE VOICE LINE! Any T-Mobile plan is eligible (even Simple Choice). New customers need to have two paid lines to get the free line. Current customers with at least two paid lines can just add a free line.

***This is an EXTREMELY RARE No-Stipulation Line (like the free lines offered back in 2016 & 2017...)

If you're new to T-Mobile and you'd like to stack this to get the 4 lines for $120 on the Magenta plan, which comes with a free Netflix account, you'll need to go to T-Mobile today/tonight (Thursday, June 25th) to start/port a 3-line account on the Magenta plan. T-Mobile is currently running a 3rd line free. All 3 lines will be $120, which includes tax.

THEN....

Starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, you can add a 4th line to your plan for FREE! This will give you 4 lines on the T-Mobile Magenta plan, which comes with all taxes/fees, unlimited data and a free Netflix account, for $120. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS... GO TO T-MOBILE NOW TO START THE 3-LINE DEAL FIRST.... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FOUR LINES THINKING THE 4TH LINE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE FREE TOMORROW... IT WON'T. 3 lines TODAY, 1 line TOMORROW!

As always, start-up fees may or may not be charged, and can come to $10 per SIM and $20 per activation per line. Ask to see if any of these may be waived.

Details about the 4th line free will be on the website tomorrow (Friday, June 26th), but don't wait to start the first 3 lines today/tonight!

i called 611 from my phone and spoke with an agent. I am on a $80 for 2 lines, unlimited everything (friends and family promotion). Initially the agent said that I will have to switch to a $120 plan to qualify for the free line, I refused. She then emailed her supervisor for more clarity on this. She called me back and said that I qualify for the free line. She then when over all the formalities to add the line and is shipping the sim card soon. She did waive the $30 (activation and shipping charge). I double tripled checked with her if I am going to pay more than $80 for 3 lines, she said yes!
Is this the Tmobile One plan with insider discount? They keep refusing to add to that plan

Not correct. The rep you spoke to is wrong. You can have two free lines, as long as you have two paid voice lines on your account.
Sorry to clarify, I have a tmobile one plan that caps at 3 lines, so i cant just add a 4th line, I need to upgrade to a another plan that allows more than 4 lines, if I upgrade I lost my free line promo. People that seem to get the extra line stacked on previous promo are on different plans.

Now their guy on chat is telling me this? FFS, they need consistency.

"Upon checking here that your account is eligible for our promotion. The requirement for the promotion is you have 2 lines.

To take advantage, you just need to activate 1 more voice line and you will get 1 free.

Are we clear so far?"
just get someone else.

Does anyone know if the line is free indefinitely as ling as plans don't change? Or is there a "sundown" time on it?

as per reddit t mobile employee.

"New customers: It works the same way as it has been for the last couple months. Must activate 2 voice lines and the 3rd line will be free.

Existing customers: Finally! As long as you have 2 paid lines or more, you are eligible to get a free voice line on a qualifying plan. (Yes simple choice is included!) Discounted plans (military, first responder and 55+ & Select Choice are not eligible.)

This offer is stackable with all previous free lines promos. Stackable with all device offers as well.

Edit: I cannot keep responding to every question. Head up to your local store or online tomorrow to get your answers.

Edit #2: 20Q23 is the Doc. number. Refer reps to that!"

What is the best deal?
Get used iPhone 8 and trade in for the iPhone 11(free) or the iPhone 11 pro (pay $300 out of pocket)

If your plan is capped at 3 lines, sadly you're out of luck getting a 4th line (whether free or paid).

Thanks for posting. Didn't really need it but would be nice if it's free. No way am I going to upgrade to Magenta when I'm on grandfathered SC. Paid only $90 a month for 4 lines now.
Is because my plan is capped at 3 lines, paying $100 for unlimited everything w/o Netflix. Need to change plans if I want to add more lines.

Anyone have success adding the free line to a Tmobile One plan with "Insider Discount" ??

Currently paying $80 all in for 2 voice lines and 1 data line. Don't want to lose the good deal but don't want to forego the 3rd voice line which my son will need shortly

(So much confusion in this thread and with reps)

I'm in the middle of adding a line. It's taking forever on chat. He's coming back to me every 5 mins telling me that he's still working on it. Wonder what the hold up is.
