How dare they try to make a one-time $30 in exchange for giving you a FREE line, Mr. Entitled.

This weekend, T-Mobile is giving away a FREE VOICE LINE! Any T-Mobile plan is eligible (even Simple Choice). New customers need to have two paid lines to get the free line. Current customers with at least two paid lines can just add a free line.

***This is an EXTREMELY RARE No-Stipulation Line (like the free lines offered back in 2016 & 2017...)

If you're new to T-Mobile and you'd like to stack this to get the 4 lines for $120 on the Magenta plan, which comes with a free Netflix account, you'll need to go to T-Mobile today/tonight (Thursday, June 25th) to start/port a 3-line account on the Magenta plan. T-Mobile is currently running a 3rd line free. All 3 lines will be $120, which includes tax.

THEN....

Starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, you can add a 4th line to your plan for FREE! This will give you 4 lines on the T-Mobile Magenta plan, which comes with all taxes/fees, unlimited data and a free Netflix account, for $120. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS... GO TO T-MOBILE NOW TO START THE 3-LINE DEAL FIRST.... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FOUR LINES THINKING THE 4TH LINE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE FREE TOMORROW... IT WON'T. 3 lines TODAY, 1 line TOMORROW!

As always, start-up fees may or may not be charged, and can come to $10 per SIM and $20 per activation per line. Ask to see if any of these may be waived.

Details about the 4th line free will be on the website tomorrow (Friday, June 26th), but don't wait to start the first 3 lines today/tonight!

thanks OP! I was able to add new line and get 50% off iPhone SE--$57 due today for tax.
Question for community...i don't actually need the phone, so thinking I'll flip. If I pay off the full value of the phone right away, will i continue to get the $200 back in the form of monthly bill discounts for 2 years?
Yes. Even if you pay off EIP early the credits still apply as long as your line is active. You have to wait until the credits start to apply though. So wait 2 to 3 billing cycles before paying it off.

Might jump on this later. So porting in a number, even for this free line promo, qualifies you for new phone promos?

Oh for sure their Customer Service is great. But I've had to use their "great" Customer Service repeatedly since 2015. From everything to billing F'ups, to trade ins that were never processed, to booster equipment returns which they claimed I never returned, to fraudulently signing up lines for protection agreements. The list goes on and on and on. They always come through and fix the issue. I have had to contact their "great" Customer Service over a dozen times since I switched to them in 2015

Before that I had been with Bell Atlantic Mobile since 2001. Then it became Verizon. In all of that time, I contacted Customer Service about an issue once. And it wasn't even Verizon's fault, it was a local tower which knocked out all carriers covered by that tower.

Don't get me wrong, T-Mobile has been an excellent value. However they really need to get their shit together
I feel similar about T-mobile, it's never a 1 call for 1 issue type deal with them. I just did a whole week of back and forth after they removed my corporate discount and one guy claimed I'd get it back by switching to another plan which removed my data on the 1st day of the new billing cycle and I had to escalate to a manager to get put back on the plan. And now because of all that, my account is in transition I guess and I can't add this extra free line because they said I can't add any lines right now even if I wanted to pay for it LOL

Adding my 2c: didn't work for TMO ONE plan 2 lines for $80 as I already have a 3rd free line. Facebook, app chat and in store said that plan maxes out at 3 lines

I have T-Mobile One with 7 lines. They are telling me the same thing that I have to add one more line in order to get one line for free. I plan to try with another rep.
before you make any changes, contact them on Twitter or Facebook and get it in writing that you can do what you are requesting to do.

then if they screw up, you have in writing they told you otherwise. which would be your saving grace should they say your older setup is no longer available bc you made a change

Wow, that's unfortunate. Besides the odd hiccup, which was fixed easily.........I have had all my promotions, rebates etc all without problems. No issues with my account either, guess I got lucky and hit the right reps at the right time lol

In order to unlock the phone, can we pay off the EIP early and still receive the discounts applied for the 24 month duration?

T-Mobile One is eligible. Please try speaking to another rep, possibly through T-Force.
Thank you for the heads up. I had to go through 2 more reps, but I was finally able to get in on the offer after this rep confirmed I could keep my plan after I triple checked with him. Haha.

I was just on the phone with a t-mobile rep and I was able to add a a third line for the $30 fee. I already have a $90 discount on my T-mobile One plan. New sim card will be mailed to me. Hopefully nothing goes wrong.

I was able to get a hold of T-Force via iMessage and it was almost instant. If you have an iPhone, go to Maps and search "T-Mobile". Click on any of the T-Mobile locations and click on "Message".
