How dare they try to make a one-time $30 in exchange for giving you a FREE line, Mr. Entitled.

This weekend, T-Mobile is giving away a FREE VOICE LINE! Any T-Mobile plan is eligible (even Simple Choice). New customers need to have two paid lines to get the free line. Current customers with at least two paid lines can just add a free line.

***This is an EXTREMELY RARE No-Stipulation Line (like the free lines offered back in 2016 & 2017...)

If you're new to T-Mobile and you'd like to stack this to get the 4 lines for $120 on the Magenta plan, which comes with a free Netflix account, you'll need to go to T-Mobile today/tonight (Thursday, June 25th) to start/port a 3-line account on the Magenta plan. T-Mobile is currently running a 3rd line free. All 3 lines will be $120, which includes tax.

THEN....

Starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, you can add a 4th line to your plan for FREE! This will give you 4 lines on the T-Mobile Magenta plan, which comes with all taxes/fees, unlimited data and a free Netflix account, for $120. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS... GO TO T-MOBILE NOW TO START THE 3-LINE DEAL FIRST.... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FOUR LINES THINKING THE 4TH LINE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE FREE TOMORROW... IT WON'T. 3 lines TODAY, 1 line TOMORROW!

As always, start-up fees may or may not be charged, and can come to $10 per SIM and $20 per activation per line. Ask to see if any of these may be waived.

Details about the 4th line free will be on the website tomorrow (Friday, June 26th), but don't wait to start the first 3 lines today/tonight!

What's the difference?
That's probably correct. Most promos like this are on post-paid (regular) accounts. Prepaid is basically for people who have little to no or bad credit or, in some situations, just want a cheaper or easier to manage (financially) plan. I don't know if you can switch from pre- to post- while keeping the SC grandfathered status, but it would almost certainly be a new plan since they differ anyways.

Prepaid - you pay in advance. Originally those plans were meant for people who didn't have appropriate credit for post-paid (pay after incurring the cost) and years ago were often quite expensive. Your current pre-paid plan is, I suspect a good deal because prepaid is no longer just about bad credit. Anyway, if you have credit to qualify for postpaid, go that route.

I'm on chat with T-Force right now and I'm being told that My T-Mobile One All-in Promo plan has a 2 line limit so I can't add the 3rd free line. My plan is $100 for 2 lines with the $20 Insider Discount. It was a promo for getting the "employee discount." Does anyone else have the same plan with the Insider Discount of $20? And did you try to get the 3rd line free without having to change your plan?
I have this plan too. I had 2 lines for quite some time originally and then added a paid 3rd line about two years ago to score the free iphone XR at Costco.

At that time I was told that I could not add any more lines to this plan in the future.

Nevertheless, I tried adding another line a few months ago hoping to score on a different promo, but was told the same thing - no more lines could be added unless I changed plans.

So I currently am using 3 lines paid lines.

I was actually thinking about cancelling the third line and then seeing if I can add the third line back hoping it would be free. Now you have me concerned I will be stuck at 2 lines if I try that.

Thanks. I've had this plan forever ...didn't even know it was no credit check to be honest with you.

Got in on this great deal plus got a bonus!

Short version:
I'm on the ONE plan with 4 paid lines (I pay $162 for 4 lines w/ Netflix Standard), and got the free line added. Method of contact was via the T-Mobile app > Support chat

Long version:
Talked to two reps, first one was completely clueless what shes talking about, saying I didnt qualify because I had 10 lines (i only have 4..). After we clarified that, I asked her if there are any phone upgrades available since I'm looking to upgrade two of my older iPhone 6s. She tells me I can get ONE iPhone 11 64gb and get $350 credit off it as part of adding a new line and trading my iPhone 6 in. She says only the 64gb version qualifies and not the 128gb. And that I can only get one new phone since I'm only adding one new line.

Luckily I disconnected with her, and got back on with another agent. This time the new agent says I can add the new line, AND similar to the deal two weeks ago, I am able to trade in my two old iPhone 6 for two new iPhone 11 (and get $350 credit each phone). I was also able to get the 128gb model (not limited to the 64gb model). I confirmed with the rep he said the same deal is indeed back again, but doesnt seem to be advertised anywhere. So those that missed out on the last trade-in deal, they might be able to get in on it still! I couldnt be any happier. Free line added plus 2 upgrades!

Yeah I can qualify no problem. I'm curious if they are trying to kick me out of SC altogether though. We will see because I'm not willing to do that.

Hi all,

I have some concerns about my account. I have a Simple Choice plan with 5 paying lines, 2 free 6GB tablet lines (from Friends & Fam 2 Lines on Us). I was wondering what I can do to my account without affecting the free lines. I've heard that if you make changes to your account (remove a line) then you lose the free lines? What about adding a line or porting in/out a number?

Thanks

So, I maxed out my all in promo with 3 lines. To utilize this deal, rep said I would need to switch to magenta plan, which is practically identical. If I switch and get the 4th line free, my monthly payment will be $112 a month.

Called 611, explained to rep I wanted to take advantage of free line offer, she did initially say it was add one get one, but she double-checked and confirmed "you are right!", took 15 minutes today and $10.63 for SIM card shipped. I currently have 4 paid lines and 1 free line, now 4 + 2 free.

You're lucky you were able to add a 3rd line then. Even if I tried adding a new line on my own I get an error that says I need to contact Customer Care. Our plan was "grandfathered" in so it doesn't apply to these new promos I guess.
