How dare they try to make a one-time $30 in exchange for giving you a FREE line, Mr. Entitled.

This weekend, T-Mobile is giving away a FREE VOICE LINE! Any T-Mobile plan is eligible (even Simple Choice). New customers need to have two paid lines to get the free line. Current customers with at least two paid lines can just add a free line.

***This is an EXTREMELY RARE No-Stipulation Line (like the free lines offered back in 2016 & 2017...)

If you're new to T-Mobile and you'd like to stack this to get the 4 lines for $120 on the Magenta plan, which comes with a free Netflix account, you'll need to go to T-Mobile today/tonight (Thursday, June 25th) to start/port a 3-line account on the Magenta plan. T-Mobile is currently running a 3rd line free. All 3 lines will be $120, which includes tax.

THEN....

Starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, you can add a 4th line to your plan for FREE! This will give you 4 lines on the T-Mobile Magenta plan, which comes with all taxes/fees, unlimited data and a free Netflix account, for $120. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS... GO TO T-MOBILE NOW TO START THE 3-LINE DEAL FIRST.... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FOUR LINES THINKING THE 4TH LINE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE FREE TOMORROW... IT WON'T. 3 lines TODAY, 1 line TOMORROW!

As always, start-up fees may or may not be charged, and can come to $10 per SIM and $20 per activation per line. Ask to see if any of these may be waived.

Details about the 4th line free will be on the website tomorrow (Friday, June 26th), but don't wait to start the first 3 lines today/tonight!

I was just told military plans don't qualify for free line. Is this accurate or is the rep wrong?
Current customers:
If you have at least 2 paid voice lines, you are eligible to get a free voice line on a qualifying plan, including Simple Choice, ONE and Magenta. Exclusions will apply, including discounted plans (military, first responder and 55+) not being eligible. Taxes and fees may apply depending on your existing plan. This may include a SIM or activation fee that may be waived later via chat.

I am on the traditional simple choice plan for the last 8 years wherein i have 3 paying lines + one free line from the last deal + three adhoc data lines.

I was able to get the 4th line added for free. They asked me for $10 for sim but I requested them to see if I could use a old sim card I had laying around and they agreed. So 0$ for the New line add.

For those that conducted a trade in, does the trade in value show on the agreement you signed? or does that get applied after they receive the phone?

I cant remember how it works out, but agent said shipping label and info would come with the new phone.

Well that sucks. I got the free line in 2017 with a military plan. Guess they didn't want to do it this year.

There are many "versions" of Simple Choice plan. From checking your account summary/billing page and/or billing statement, how can you tell you are in the qualify Simple Choice plan?

And if you are in a qualify Simple Choice plan or family plan with 2 paid lines, any promotion add-on (like previous free lines, free unlimited data w/6GB mobile hotspots add-on, corporate discount add-on, etc) to it won't affect you getting this free line?

If you're a current customer, what exactly is the point of this? Say you have 4 lines. You add a 5th line for free. Cancel another line and the credit goes away. Port your number out and back in and the credit goes away. So it's just an unused line.

Most likely a gimmick to pad their quarterly numbers right

you can rent out the line for $30 a month, which is $360 a year free money and it goes on and on and on.

Anyone with Simple Choice North America 10GB Family Match able to add a free line? Rep telling me that my version of Simple Choice isn't eligible.
I'm wondering the same. I reached out via mobile app and have been told that SCNA isn't "Simple Choice"

I'm an existing customer. I was planning to get my Daughter a line starting in the next 2-3 months, and adding $20 to my bill each month. This just saved me $240 a year - so a very timely deal for me, anyway.

Can reserve the free line for a child or you have gift it to a relative to help them save a monthly cost. It also allows you a chance to benefit from phone deal

I currently had 6 lines on the Essentials plan and unfortunately had to upgrade my plan to Magenta to get a 7th line added. The max # of lines on Essentials is 6 so there was no way around it. Also ordered a Oneplus 8 with it to take advantage of the 'add a line' discount. I had a corp discount of 15% on my Essentials plan. Crossing my fingers and hoping the discount carried over to the new plan.

To whom? Everybody already has phones. Even if you rent out, when you port their number the credit goes away

I'm asking them about the eligible plans and carriers for the iPhone 11 promo now.
The rep said the T-Mobile One plan qualifies and these are not eligible port-in carriers: T-Mobile Prepaid, Metro by T-Mobile, free Google Voice services, MVNOs using T-Mobile's network, or numbers used with T-Mobile service in the last 90 days.

Your ONE plan's limit is 8 lines, so they'll have to switch it to the 9-12 version of ONE plan. Make sure they do that and not convert it to Magenta, otherwise you might lose your existing credits/promos/kickback.
Actually, I asked this specific question, and was told the limit on our particular ONE plan was 12 lines. I do recall asking this question in years past, and being told the same thing (max of 12 lines).
