How dare they try to make a one-time $30 in exchange for giving you a FREE line, Mr. Entitled.

This weekend, T-Mobile is giving away a FREE VOICE LINE! Any T-Mobile plan is eligible (even Simple Choice). New customers need to have two paid lines to get the free line. Current customers with at least two paid lines can just add a free line.

***This is an EXTREMELY RARE No-Stipulation Line (like the free lines offered back in 2016 & 2017...)

If you're new to T-Mobile and you'd like to stack this to get the 4 lines for $120 on the Magenta plan, which comes with a free Netflix account, you'll need to go to T-Mobile today/tonight (Thursday, June 25th) to start/port a 3-line account on the Magenta plan. T-Mobile is currently running a 3rd line free. All 3 lines will be $120, which includes tax.

THEN....

Starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, you can add a 4th line to your plan for FREE! This will give you 4 lines on the T-Mobile Magenta plan, which comes with all taxes/fees, unlimited data and a free Netflix account, for $120. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS... GO TO T-MOBILE NOW TO START THE 3-LINE DEAL FIRST.... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FOUR LINES THINKING THE 4TH LINE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE FREE TOMORROW... IT WON'T. 3 lines TODAY, 1 line TOMORROW!

As always, start-up fees may or may not be charged, and can come to $10 per SIM and $20 per activation per line. Ask to see if any of these may be waived.

Details about the 4th line free will be on the website tomorrow (Friday, June 26th), but don't wait to start the first 3 lines today/tonight!

I'm on a TMO One Plus with 3 active lines for about 112/month. I was told that my plan is limited to 3 lines only and I can avail the free line promo only if I transfer to Magenta, which would increase my price.

This is B S, why should a plan be limited to 3 lines only..
T-Mobile promotions are a scam. I have the same plan with 2 lines and they tell me it's limited to 2 lines only.

To those of you who added a free line AND are porting in a line as part of the iPhone 11 trade-in promo, did you get any documentation at all showing that you are getting either promo?

I only see an order with a breakdown that I'm trading in my 8+ for a $152 credit, but nothing in-writing for the device credits or the $20 free line credit. The phone rep did verbally assure me I will get both (even though I'm on Simple Choice North America), but I always prefer something in print. Thanks.

Many have posted the same issue. If your plan is maxed out on lines (whether that's 3, 10, or 12 depending on plan), there's just no way to add another line whether free or paid.
I had same issue. A a few years back. Which was why I flipped to magenta. With 12 line max. But it got f'd up and now I have 12 lines on magenta. No freebies. I should have left it alone. Now I don't qualify for free line since I am capped at 12

They used to tell me that earlier as well.
My 3rd line was added anyway about 2 months ago. It bumped the monthly payment a little bit. But 3 lines for 112$ is still a very good price.

I've been TMO for over 2 years and have never been able to get a free line. Uhhh

"Thank you so much for that information.
Upon checking on the recent offer, the free lines for an existing customers can only be taken advantage once you activate new line and get the other line for free."

From my T-Mobile expert. I guess I need to HUCA

You can. My friend who just added the free line did, but the speeds appear to be throttled way down. I think the tower can detect the device type and assigns a speed.

He put the SIM back onto a phone and received higher speeds.
Getting throttled is a bummer. I hope it'll still be usable.

1. Even when they add a free line, is it subject to $3-$4 worth of regulatory fees? I would love to have the line as a backup but would hate paying $3-$4 per-month for something that I don't use.

2. Besides discount on Iphone-SE, can you get discount on Samsung S20?

Right, but you said earlier than it was actually $107 (or $108) and you were using up part of some other promotion which will soon be gone? So, if I were to switch 3 lines to the Essentials Plan I'd probably be paying $108 per month.

I know it's weird that I'm OK paying $80 for 3 lines with data caps, or I'd be OK paying $98 for 4 lines with no data caps (if I could get the 4th line for free with this promo), but $108 would be too much for me.
no, it's $98 including the $10 autopay discount, that $107 is including a phone EIP, I shouldn't have mentioned it since it's not really relevant and caused confusion.
