How dare they try to make a one-time $30 in exchange for giving you a FREE line, Mr. Entitled.

This weekend, T-Mobile is giving away a FREE VOICE LINE! Any T-Mobile plan is eligible (even Simple Choice). New customers need to have two paid lines to get the free line. Current customers with at least two paid lines can just add a free line.

***This is an EXTREMELY RARE No-Stipulation Line (like the free lines offered back in 2016 & 2017...)

If you're new to T-Mobile and you'd like to stack this to get the 4 lines for $120 on the Magenta plan, which comes with a free Netflix account, you'll need to go to T-Mobile today/tonight (Thursday, June 25th) to start/port a 3-line account on the Magenta plan. T-Mobile is currently running a 3rd line free. All 3 lines will be $120, which includes tax.

THEN....

Starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, you can add a 4th line to your plan for FREE! This will give you 4 lines on the T-Mobile Magenta plan, which comes with all taxes/fees, unlimited data and a free Netflix account, for $120. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS... GO TO T-MOBILE NOW TO START THE 3-LINE DEAL FIRST.... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FOUR LINES THINKING THE 4TH LINE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE FREE TOMORROW... IT WON'T. 3 lines TODAY, 1 line TOMORROW!

As always, start-up fees may or may not be charged, and can come to $10 per SIM and $20 per activation per line. Ask to see if any of these may be waived.

Details about the 4th line free will be on the website tomorrow (Friday, June 26th), but don't wait to start the first 3 lines today/tonight!

I have the one plus promo with 9 lines. With the 10 line being free i show 216 after hookup discount. But does not include kickback discount
Could you share your rate code for the One Plus promo with 9 voice lines?

folks, help me out here. rep added a free line, waiting for the sim card to arrive next week. i have an old unlocked iphone 6+ which i might use. any suggestions for unlocked phone i can purchase, preferably under $200. thanks

rep offered iphone SE 50% off, which i passed on. screen was too small, plus hubby has iphone 7
iphone SE for 250$ (current promo) is certainly the best phone you can get in that price range. Smaller screen but the power in that thing is the fastest thing around. If screens are your thing... maybe a maybe the A50? but honestly in this price range will be budget maybe a Chinese brand like Xiaomi?

How can I see my plan number using the web developer trick? I'm on a MacBook.
In chrome login to your account, from your keyboard select Option + ⌘ + J and the developer console will open. Make sure you are at https://my.t-mobile.com/home. Tab over to Network. Give focus to https://my.t-mobile.com/home and reload. You can use ⌘ + R. The data will populate as shown. I've removed my personal data.

I found it easier to view in Preview then in Response. I'm on a Macbook Pro on 10.15.6, Chrome Version 83.0.4103.116

I'm on the Simple Choice SCFUTT4 plan with 5 paid lines and 2 free lines from a few years ago (I believe the promotion is Friends & Family 2 Lines on Us. I don't recall what the terms were for those free lines if I can remove one of the paid lines and still keep the free lines, does anyone know?

So does anyone really know this requires people on their end to "apply the promo code" for the line to be free? Or they just add it and don't do anything special, i.e. their system will do it automatically if your plan qualifies. Someone posted we can just add the line via the T-mobile app and it will be free as long as our plan is eligible. I'm going that route, I already did a dry run and nothing changes on my plan, which I want to keep exactly as; don't want some CSR screwing and changing my plan just to get the free line. If it doesn't work out I'll just cancel it after a month and eat the first $20 monthly cost

Twitter or Facebook is better.
611 is full of shit. No clue what they are doing.
Depends who takes your call, didn't have any problems with my transaction. If he got someone that said he qualified should have tried to finish the deal there rather than getting some clueless clerk in store.

What is this "hookup" discount? I'm on Simple Choice plan. Can I get this discount?
As I recalled, Simple Choice plans can't get the "Hookup" discount. You need to change your plan.

Got one without any problems using 611 and asking for taking advantage of the free line under promo code 20q23. I'm on the old Tmobile One plan with the free Plus promo with 2 free lines already.

Here is what they are telling me if I upgrade to "T Mobile one 9+" plan since I already have 8 lines...

When it comes to changing a plan we do have a problem with the free lines falling off and I do see that the 3rd line Spring free line promo is not eligible for the grandfathered plan with the T-Mobile One 9+ lines.

So even waiting some time, if we change it that would fall off unfortunately. We could look over the new plans and see if it would work better for you if you wanted. ^MelissaStephens

I thought this would be the case, but the rep said nothing would be affected...

So I went through with it...big mistake 😭 I was moved to the Magenta plan and lost all my discounts.

I'm fighting it, but I anticipate this is going to be a long uphill battle to get back to where my account was. Because I had a lot of promotions on my account that I've now lost.

Thanks for this. I am also considering this to get more than 8 lines since I have the old One plan. But I already have a free line that I don't want to lose.

Use computer or web browser. Not the app. I see it in mine.
I looked under the new line for pending or active promotions and it is empty. What promotion does yours say? My phone just shipped this morning.

Now on Twitter they asked me to confirm if I wanted to cancel the newly added line?

I never said that! This is a serious clusterf***.
