How dare they try to make a one-time $30 in exchange for giving you a FREE line, Mr. Entitled.

This weekend, T-Mobile is giving away a FREE VOICE LINE! Any T-Mobile plan is eligible (even Simple Choice). New customers need to have two paid lines to get the free line. Current customers with at least two paid lines can just add a free line.

***This is an EXTREMELY RARE No-Stipulation Line (like the free lines offered back in 2016 & 2017...)

If you're new to T-Mobile and you'd like to stack this to get the 4 lines for $120 on the Magenta plan, which comes with a free Netflix account, you'll need to go to T-Mobile today/tonight (Thursday, June 25th) to start/port a 3-line account on the Magenta plan. T-Mobile is currently running a 3rd line free. All 3 lines will be $120, which includes tax.

THEN....

Starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, you can add a 4th line to your plan for FREE! This will give you 4 lines on the T-Mobile Magenta plan, which comes with all taxes/fees, unlimited data and a free Netflix account, for $120. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS... GO TO T-MOBILE NOW TO START THE 3-LINE DEAL FIRST.... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FOUR LINES THINKING THE 4TH LINE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE FREE TOMORROW... IT WON'T. 3 lines TODAY, 1 line TOMORROW!

As always, start-up fees may or may not be charged, and can come to $10 per SIM and $20 per activation per line. Ask to see if any of these may be waived.

Details about the 4th line free will be on the website tomorrow (Friday, June 26th), but don't wait to start the first 3 lines today/tonight!

Did you do this all online? I am tempted to do the same using my iPhone 8 but am concerned with so much promo activity on this line if it will mess somethings up.

hence was leaning towards a straight forward iphone se promotion.

i also have 7 voice lines right now and 2 data lines but am on the T-mobile One plan with some extra perks/etc.
No, after waiting for an hour on chat, I called 611 and got through to a nice rep within a few minutes. I was going to do the 1/2 off SE plan, but he said that I could do the iPhone 11 trade in promo as long as I was porting in a line. I had a google voice number, which I unlocked to allow porting for $3, and will use that once I get the iPhone 11.

I did check on the T-Mobile site and it did indeed say the GV number was eligible to port. I guess I'll see early next week if this all seems to be going right once the 11 ships to me.

How? I looked and that promo says when you switch and trade, did they just allow you get the promo as an existing account?
I went to the store to do it. I asked them if I could stack all three promos. They checked with the manager who said yes. I have to be on eip for both phones up front, though. Might be able to pay off later. Also paid down payment for both phones.

I have the two lines all in promo, but I added a third line in the past and I pay $140 a month. I have hd and kickback, but I do not get free Netflix. When I talked to a representative, they said I could switch under the magenta plan and get a free line.

I see a lot of people trying to switch back to their old plan after being switched to magenta. Is it because they lost their hookup discount?

Just trying to see if I should make the switch to magenta or if it's all bad...

Went through the T-Mobile app and Expert verified that my military plan was eligible for the free line promotion.

This mass confusion is going to end up with T-mobile screwing up a ton of grandfathered accounts.

Maybe that was part of the grand scheme, to get customers off grandfathered plans in order to add a free line and onto a higher priced plan by throwing an iphone into the mix as additional bait.

Quick update

(1) After some back and forth with T-Force, including sending them screenshots of the notifications and of the chat with the first T-Force rep (who told me our plan had been migrated to Magenta), the second rep told me he was able to confirm we would stay on our ONE plan, with no change in our benefits, including kickback.

(2) for the Iphone 11 deal, I think I got in early enough, where the rep did not require a port-in number (someone mentioned these reps may have been able to use an older promo that did not require port-in). I checked my account, and I see the free ninth line (they assigned me a phone number), along with a note that I got a $30 credit for that line.

I did both promotions via chat (through the iOS T-Mobile application). Took about 2 hours of chatting with the representative, but it looks like things have been finally squared away.

We'll see next month when I get my bill, but at least I now have written communications to support what I think we should be receiving.
Good luck...!
In my experience, the written proof or notes don't save your follow up time, you need to spend hours with them in case something goes wrong, they will accept that it's a glitch in their system and will fix it, the issue is it will still take hours for them (and hence you being on the call) to fix anything manually !
Plus you have to keep a track of such mistakes and keep asking for credit for the wrongly charged amount.

How does this work with the one plus plan? I called last night and they said they have to switch me to a basic T-Mobile one plan( not plus). I am not convinced I have to switch. I have two lines and that's all, paying about $140/month

Same happened to me, and I lost all my credits, kick back and insider discount took about 4 hours to get everything back to the way it was. I guess 8 line is the limit on TMobile one.
is it 8 line voice limit or both voice lines and like tablet/wearable lines?

I just added a free line in store. They did say you need to trade in plus port in a number from att or Verizon. There used to be $10 SIM pay as you go card from att but not sure if they are still available
It has to be a port in from ATT or Verizon? Should be anything that doesn't use TMobile network.

The terms specifically list that GV numbers are not eligible for port in.

Geez bro, have you read at least the last 2 pages?
The standard "One" plan has a limit of 8 lines, to add more lines they need to change it to another plan "One 9+" or something !
Now the issue is, this "One" or "One 9+" plan is no more available and is called "grandfathered" plan (like many other plans including SimpleChoice) so they can't change the "One" plan to "One 9+" plan (at least not easily) so they just go ahead and change it to "Magenta 9+'" (or may be just called "Magenta") plan and as soon as they do that, all the existing promos fall off and a horror movie starts !!!
thanks - do you know if its a limit of 8 voice lines or combination of 8 voice and tablet / wearable lines?

right now i have 7 voice lines and 2 tablet lines.
