Money and probably loss of the factory used to make the good screens due to covid

Great specs and they use a crappy TN screen. WTF were they thinking?

UPDATE: searching around, it seems this may actually be an IPS screen. But seems like others that ordered this in April 2020 deal said it was crappy display, but search results also say IPS. So, who knows?

How's this compared to other Lenovo deal @600? Less SSD, smaller screen for 50 bucks less..

Per Lenovo: 15.6" FHD (1920x1080) TN 250nits Anti-glare, 45% Gamut

Nice laptop except for the screen. The screen is obviously cheap when viewed in person, though it is somewhat usable. Not worth it in my opinion. I debated for a while and returned the one I bought through an earlier deal.

Definitely TN, not IPS. Lenovo's PSREF states so.
