Original price: $9.99

Final Price (after code) :$4.99

My collection of cables from 7 years ago are starting to die now, so I need to add new cables. This is a great deal for 5-pack of cables. I keep these all over my house and cars to charge devices. The reviews are good.

This seems like it is likely a good deal, but if you read some of the most-recent comments, there are several complaints about these things not being durable and reliable and about how they apparently stopped working properly after less than a month. Which really sucks to see, because I was specifically looking for some microUSB cables and would have been excited to be able to grab 5 of them for $5.

It sounds like they used to be better-quality cables, because I read at least one comment where the person said that they had been happy with them in the past, but that the most-recent batch of cables they received seems to be of a lesser quality than the ones they used to get. Sadly, that seems to be a theme with many things these days, that companies try to save money/make more profit, by using cheaper qualities or less workmanship on their products.

If anyone knows of any good deals on micro USB cables, please feel free to post a link!

Good side, the website that spots fake reviews changed this from a D to a C rating because Amazon removed some of those reviews.

Bad side, I'm one of many who can't see paying $10-$13 a month to get free shipping (every other Prime benefit is not a benefit I'd ever use).

With all the thousands of cable vendors what to do except spend way too much time trying to get a real review.
Or visit one of several vendors from China, or what about this glitzy device:

Serious question, what do you still use micro USB for? I have one Bluetooth speaker and a flashlight that uses it but that's it. And I have so many cables from old cell phones and all those old devices.

Thanks just ordered!! Then realized I didn't read close enough and it is one generation back from the type of connector I need. That's ok, I have plenty of older devices that still use this micro USB connector for charging!

I have some USB a to c cables from this company and use them for charging in the car. Have worked fine for about 6 months so far?

Plenty of cheap adapters on eBay that convert between micro-B and C. I get the ones that come with a little string attached and wrap it multiple times around the end of the cord so it's always easy and handy to switch between the two types as needed.

Let's see.... my husband's phone, two of my son's tablets, all our bluetooth speakers, my passport drive, my rechargeable batteries, battery backup banks, the kindles and xboxes. I'm sure there's more but we need them more than any other cables.

My phone uses C and we have two ipads and iPhones so we have all kind of cables. It's harder to find deals on Micro USB.

I've had cheap cables fry my phones. Use at you're own risk. (I haven't used these) Had two phones in a row die prematurely with out a scratch on them. Cable would charge intermittently and then my phone quit charging. Factory repair person said phone circuit board fried at the charging section of the board. Had to buy another phone that day. No time to shop around. Trash the cable the second you start having any trouble. 6 feet is a long cable. 3 feet is a little too short a lot of the time.

Seriously? Pretty obvious what the product is from the picture and the price.

The charger itself and the phone or device, not the cable, are responsible for sending/accepting the correct current. I'm not sure how the cable would fry your phone, though I don't doubt what you say it true. I'd be much more worried about using a cheap charger.
