As a general rule, VA panels have incredibly high contrast ratios, and have the deepest blacks of anything outside of OLED. It lacks the incredibly fast response time of TN, and the viewing angles and color saturation of IPS.

You are going to get varying feedback, from complaints about VA ghosting/smearing, to 27" being too large for 1080p. If neither of these things bother you, it is a great price. It is likely the monitor will support some degree of overdrive to help with trailing images.
