Great deal on the new Dell XPS 15.6" model with $400 savings plus the benefits of Costco laptop purchases. The same config will run $2500+ direct from Dell, without the Costco benefits.
This model is the 4K screen with a 1 TB SSD and 32 GB RAM. The new XPS has received excellent reviews all-around, especially now that the original trackpad issues have been resolved.

You absolutely can buy 32gb of ram and an m.2 NVME ssd for less than $291.
I just spent $205 for both recently, prosumer grade drive - 3000 Mb of random write and read performance for $140. You also have the benefit of having 2 NVME drives if you go the upgrade yourself route.
But that Costco warranty sounds great and well worth any savings if you do want that 4k screen.
I did notice within the last 3-4 days Dell has raised prices on some of the XPS 15 upgrades. It was previously $50 to upgrade from the 256 gb to the 500 gb SSD, now it is $100. It was also previously $300 to go from the 1080p screen to the 4K screen, now it is $400.
I am looking for a 4k laptop since i currently have 15in 4k asus and TO ME its worth it, i kind of wanted to get the 17in since its supposed to be very compact compared to other manufacturers

Yeah but most ppl who are working from home already have laptops, so not like the entire workforce needs a new laptop, we have like 5 laptops that are spares, but old.
