Your experience is likely pent up demand, there was a 33% economic contraction last quarter and unemployment is through the roof, not a CNN vs fox news issue. That's reality.

Read the Costco review comments, trackpad issues, killer wifi card doa, have read a lot of reviews with wifi and trackpad issues in numerous YouTube reviews.

Set this up for my uncle recently for his photography. The display is beautiful and the touch screen is convenient and responsive. Dell has preinstalled color calibration that worked flawlessly with an i1 DisplayPro. I was very surprised.

The only qualm I had with it was you need to be deliberate with the keyboard. If you type a lot this could be a deal breaker. I'd recommend anyone seriously interested try and find an in-store demo.

I got this laptop yesterday, it has slightly loose trackpad on bottom half. It works fine, Is it fine long term or better to get replacement?

I would get a replacement. I've seen some reviews that the trackpad will get looser with use and "collapse" into the laptop.

That sucks. I don't know if replacement would help as costco might got stock when It was released. Wonder if any others ordered from costco having same problem.

I just picked up the one I ordered and it's the same way. Not sure if this is the problem or maybe that's the way it's supposed to work? I suggest googling the issue and decide for yourself. I bought the laptop for my daughter so I'm gonna let her check it out and decide.

Amazon now has the same model with the same specs at a cheaper price if you buy with Amazon Prime Visa. But there is no extended warranty and the website says it won't be in stock until Sept. 25

Unfortunately! I love the screen and aesthetics. But I did not expect this kind of Quality issue even after dell claimed they fixed the issue in July. Now I have to go thru hassle of replacement with no guarantee new one will be having no trackpad issues.

100% what I have been trying to say, look at all the reviews, how else do you get such an amazing deal? They are dumping their trash to Costco as they can move volume. The wifi card, crap i7 cpu, and track pads are all being off loaded.

Look at when the deal expires, 8/24/2020, when does the 90 day return period end? 11/23/2020, the deal expires and the return window closes right before black Friday.

I have had 2 dell xps's since the first xps and the have all lasted and still work. Every one of the xps had a major heat issue, this one is the same. I really wanted to buy this, but the wifi card and track pad things you'll use daily, should not be broken before its unboxed. Really wanted to buy this, but let's see if Dell gets better components by Thanksgiving.
