SN550 boots faster and loads games faster
SN750 writes twice as fast and maintains speed better over time, gets a bit too hot at times
If you're going to be video editing for example get the SN750, normal usage go with SN550 it's like a SATA 3 SSD on steroids.
Most gen pop usage will never see a performance benefit from an NVMe over a SATA SSD.

Anyone know how these WD ones are considered compared to the Samsung Evo equivalents?
I love my SN750's and there are performance reasons to choose it and spend more. Yes, it has hit 121.50 when wd.com sells it for 134.99 and offers 10% off.
Wouldn't a heatsink fix any heat issues?

Can you suggest if heat sink helps with NVME heat issues? For desktop is heat sink reccomended?

Yeah there's still a sector that uses SATA III lol. Not everybody has access to an M.2 port, nor do they have any real need for an NVMe drive over a SATA drive.
