When you are working with brick, concrete or any masonry, please wear N95 grade masks as these stones have silica in them that can be harmful to your lungs. Don't take this lightly. It will screw up your lungs big time.

Tried to have it shipped a couple of times. Always cancelled or something.

I bought these the last time it was on sale. It took a couple of days for them to get the order ready for pickup.
I've used it to drill a hole is a concrete slab. It worked fine.

Old hard concrete or new soft concrete?

This wouldn't work for a porcelain tile, would it?

No. You need a bit suitable for ceramic -- carbide tipped or diamond tipped (I would opt for the latter) AND take your time. EDIT: fixed misspelling.

Are you drilling through porcelain or ceramic tile? If the former then only a diamond tipped bit will suffice. If the latter, then either a carbide tipped or a diamond tipped bit should work for you. Sorry, I jumped the gun in my first reply to you .
