LG OLEDs do not have HDR10+. Ultimately that doesn't matter to me though because Dolby Vision is the one that is much more widely supported.
One other thing that hasn't been mentioned that makes the LG CX an improvement over the LG C9 is that the CX has 120hz BFI vs the C9 which only has 60hz BFI. That is most beneficial for those that watch sports. And for those that point out that the C9 has the full bandwidth of 48Gbps vs the 40Gbps on the CX, the C9 will never use the full 48Gbps because it's only a 10 bit panel, as is the CX's panel. It will only ever use a max of 40Gbps. LG has claimed that going down to the 40Gbps allowed them to put more emphasis towards processing power. That part can be up for debate.
I have the C9 and really from my experience TVs like OLED and plasma do not really improve much over the previous years model , every two to three years is the sweet spot
what TV you have now?
Agreed. My LG OLED B7 is still running like a champ!
What caused the burn in? Normal tv viewing or prolonged video games with static images?
PS4 Usually I game only a few hours..if at all during a day, but during covid19 been playing alot..I got addicted to nba2k20. In their lineup screen..they have 3 attribute circles. HD or 4k content they are barely visible..but i know they are there and its annoying. Where you can really see issues and there are others...is watching HD channels which are clearly not...solid brown, red, and yellow screens are really bad.
Also, I need to turn off the hdmi power option on the new tv...i use Alexa and sometimes she gets lazy and doesn't turn off all the devices...the tv senses the device is on and puts it on screen...possibly catastrophic if its the ps4.

Wow, if I had to replace my OLED after only a few years because of burn in I probably wouldn't get another one. That's a testament to how much you like this TV!

Its gorgeous. I Before I buy I go into Best Buy and look at the wall of tvs and see what I like...trying not to look at the logo. The 8k Samsung is #1...unfortunately I don't have 10k laying around. The sony and lg oleds are neck and neck but with the Sony price point and lack of reliability...it makes the LG Oled a clear winner. The Samsung qleds don't hold up in a Pepsi challenge.
This model would cost me $2,322 Including tax and Shipping.
I'm wondering if the LG OLED65 GX PUA would be worth the extra $$ @ $2,700 Incl Tax and Delivery? Im liking that new ATSC 3.0 Tuner.

FWIW Best Buy is already showing the upcoming Vizio 65" oled for retail of $1999. I'm expecting sale prices to be lower than that and LG will have to come down to match. The Vizio will do both DV and HDR10+ from what I've read, while LGs will only do DV.
Waiting to see the reviews of Vizio one. The spec seems pretty good, would probably go with it if LG is not lowering their price.

Probably because the nonsense that this matters has been debunked exhaustively in the last 9,783 LG TV threads.
The actual warranty doesn't care if the dealer is "authorized" or not- you can tell by reading it.
