Out of this world deal. COSTCO is a great store - you never have to worry about pricing of products in their warehouse since their margin is only and always just on avg. 10% above their all-in costs.

A lot of what Costco has seems somewhat higher end. I've heard they require manufacturers to make the product actually better than their normal one to sell it at Costco.

Can't speak to anything else you said, but this piece I can say isn't exactly true. I used to work for Post Cereals who partners with Costco more than a little. The only thing different we did was package a new "exclusive" size cereal box for them - a few ounces more of product in the box than you would get at a regular supermarket. The product itself was exactly the same as anywhere else. The box makes customers think they're getting something special I guess.

Of course I also can't speak for any other manufacturers, like electronics and stuff. Maybe that's where Costco puts their super secret special sauce?

I purchased a gold membership yesterday with teacher's day offer that offer $30 shop card. This deal is sweeter. Is there a way I can cancel that membership activation certificate? I haven't activated it yet in store. Anyone please let me know

Mine expired Sept 2019 -- usually you can't be a member for past 18 months to qualify for new membership promo

I know the terms state 4/1/20 as the cutoff for this one but anyone have a problem redeeming similar promos in the past with less than 18mo terms?

If you have problem with Groupon then LivingSocial also has it: https://www.livingsocial.com/deal...rship-2020 [livingsocial.com]
Can you just create a membership with a new email or use another family members name? I know you can with Sams Club.

My mistake, IF it's true, it seems to apply to Kirkland products specifically https://napkinmath.substack.com/p...annibalize

I think I messed up. I bought the membership with the store card and then I set up autopay after checkout. Will I receive the incentives?

Did you use a Visa card for autopay? If so, you should be fine.

OK, I've tried numerous times, private browsing mode, another browser other than Chrome and for some reason no matter how many times I look at and scroll through it I get "You must scroll through the Member Privileges & Conditions to check the checkbox." and I even disabled my adblocker.
