You have to understand, each game takes place in different locales across the world. And each has it's theme(s) of that generation. FH3 has Hotwheels (loop de loops are a blast) and they offer cars from that locale as well. FH4 had quite a few additions to the formula and has a LEGO dlc that is worth it alone. The missions and secrets are based on locale, too. It isn't your typical make it better, you don't need the last generation... each game is it's own unique experience. I would recommend both without hesitation, you are missing out on some great fun if you skip FH3... a ton of great and wonderful fun.

i've only played a few hours of both games with a PC tmx pro setup, but i have to say at this price it is so worth it. had brother in law play for the first time and i couldn't get him to stop, he was having so much fun with the steering etc. excellent games. you can drive around recklessly or do the objectives. if you like cars, driving, etc, get this. for me, it's a bit lackluster using game pad controller on PC, but still fun if that's your thing.

Kinda sucks a game that contains the words "Ultimate Edition" doesn't have all the big DLCs included. FH3 is missing the Hot Wheels DLC which I believe is one of the best parts of the game.

I stand corrected, I was basing that on the OP where I did not see Hot Wheels listed. Also, its still true that the standalone FH3 Ultimate Edition does not contain Hot Wheels.

it's all good. i had to search the details on the microsoft page to see exactly what was included. and it's all of the dlc. OP should update the post to reflect that.

dang maybe should have waited for this deal instead of getting FH3 Ultimate + Expanision pass for around $30. Hmm will still probably get it for FH4. Strange how the Ultimate Edition in this includes Hot Wheels/Blizzard Mountain, but not the UE by itself.

I like this bundle and it's a good deal. My only issue is Forza horizon 3 AND Forza horizon 4. I cant see the need to play the older game, now that 4 is out.

As someone w a ton of hours on both. FH3 still gets played bc of Hot Wheels expansion. Its honestly that good.

That's an interesting point, I always wondered the same thing, why is FH3 still popular while FH4 is available.
