Dark Knight movies Digital 4K on Vudu/iTunes for $7.99 each, other DC movies on sale

$7.99

Vudu, iTunes, and FandangoNow [fandangonow.com] have the Christopher Nolan Batman movies for $7.99 each in 4K UHD. These are $1 cheaper than last week's FP thread from the Microsoft Store.

According to blackholez below, these are only $6.99 each at Microsoft [microsoft.com]. Or $19.99 for all three.

$7.99 4K:For some reason the Dark Knight Trilogy ($14.99 at iTunes [apple.com] or $19.99 at Vudu [vudu.com]) is listed as HD only.. though Vudu says "Buy any quality, get every quality. All qualities up to 4K UHD included with purchase." and I would think iTunes is the same way but I can't confirm that.

They also have:

$6.99 4K:
  • Batman
  • Batman Returns
  • Batman Forever
  • Batman & Robin
  • Superman: The Movie
$7.99 4K:
  • Man of Steel
  • Batman vs Superman
  • Wonder Woman
  • Suicide Squad
  • Justice League
  • Birds of Prey... Harley Quinn
  • LEGO Batman Movie
$9.99 4K
  • Joker
  • Shazam
  • Superman: Red Son
  • Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (Ultimate Edition)
All are Movies Anywhere.

Maybe it's just me, but could you change the "streaming" to "Digital"... The term in my book is used to indicate rentals or subscriptions, not something you own (own rights to watch that is). And just to be more clear, when you own it digitally - you can download it thus not streaming it.
Thanks, it just threw me off to see 'streaming' especially since movies are now being released to rent only.

and for the altruistic, yes you can download some rented content too..

Just bought the Trilogy ($14.99) in iTunes and each movie states "4K and Dolby Vision" individually.

Great. How do they show up in other services, like Vudu? (Assuming you've linked accounts through MA.)

It's just you and the terms are correct.

For iTunes purchases, the studios restricted Apple to only allow the HD version to be downloaded and viewing of the 4K only via streaming.

They all only allow HD download. However you still own the SD/HD for download.

Might want to remove FandangoNow from the description or add links to movies on that service.

OK, I added a link to the bundle on FN. It has the individual movies below.

It is but not sure if you get it in 4K on MA.
