Just gonna chime in and say LaView Tech Support is pretty good, and it's supposedly lifetime. 😱

Actually it's hybrid DVR with ability to connect 2 IP camera.
Great price for basic system if you hard core CCTV fan.

Cross checked this on Amazon which says this has a consolidated bnc whereby power and video are consolidated into one bnc connection at the camera. I have an existing traditional bnc wire run where the camera requires one connection for the bnc video and one connection for the power. Can I adapt this to my current bnc cable system or will I have to pull new consolidated bnc cable?

Your best bet is to run supplied cables as your old one most likely will not be able to handle 4k stream.

LaView has decent hardware, but their software and apps are garbage. I've never been able to reliably use their app and I followed the crappy instructions they posted word by word. Customer support is useless. I am transitioning the cameras to a different nvr setup, software and app and ditching the LaView garbage.

What the heck is H.265+? That's not a video standard.
Google it. It's a form of video compression that basically compresses an image to save, then uncompressed the video to view while saving space.
