After seeing the last few posts regarding the 12v line, the general consensus among downvoters is that Dewalt hasn't made any updates to their 12v line in ages and getting the tools is somewhat pointless when it comes to the rest of the Dewalt line of 20v batteries. Most people push to the Atomic line if they want compact tools which give you access to the batteries used in the rest of the line.
