So I'm outside expecting to be kept warm by this jacket - but it was as if I wore nothing at all. It had to be the weirdest jacket I've ever worn, incapable of holding body heat. Its only purpose in my mind was that it had pockets and brush protection.
Gladly I returned it to Costco. Soon thereafter there was a Nike sale at Nordstrom Rack for one of their lightweight jackets - much lighter than the Marmot, with normal pockets too, it does exactly what the Marmot didn't do - keeps me warm on a slightly cold day.
