congrats buddy this is a beautiful TV trust me. People in here are comparing it to other TV's playing their own demos. Go to Costco and see it side by side to the Q8 playing the same content and you will see that the 90CH looks better. The biggest mistake people make is that they go by specs all the time and you can't do that. Its like the Cowboys on paper they look great on the field ..... not so much.... one of those TVs was the Vizio PQ. The Sony 90CH or 900H however you want to call it is a great tv for the price and picture and color quality.
Vizio PX-G1 does not have HDMI 2.1 if you want to future proof your TV with for new console or PC graphic cards you should opt for Sony. The TV comes with the HDMI 2.1 hardware that will be turned on in "future" via firmware update.
Costco will only do a price adjustment within 30 days. If you want to wait till BF just wait. If you are going to buy it and returned it then don't, all you are doing is abusing the policy. The store loses money that way and hours get cut for employees.
Costco is the better company to purchase from for their return policy + warranty. However, Dell has the much better deal. $100 GC from Dell, 3% in Dell Rewards, and 20% cashback you're able to get when you stack it w/ an AMEX Biz offer and a CB site make it too lucrative. Brings the total down to like $1900. Even if you don't have the AMEX offer, that's still a nearly $400 difference.
but Dell is not a authorized dealer..........We talking about Sony here....
Bought the 85" for $2769 July 5th. Out of the 30 day price adjustment window. Oh well...
You can always call them up and ask if they will match it. Seems like they would seeing as the other option would be to return and re-buy. Never hurts to ask! Report back if you give it a try.
Really confused between getting this (75" for $1970) vs Vizio P series Quantum X (PX75-G1) 75" @ $1499 from Costco. The Vizio comes with a 3 yr warranty as well. Not sure whether paying $500 more for the Sony makes sense or not. Any thoughts?
Reddit is flooded with pqx issues. I would stick with Sony.

I recently pulled the trigger on the Visio. Have not received it yet, but i am hoping that it is the best bang for my buck.
This 85inch in tempting though.
If I buy through greentoe, am I always guaranteed to get a Sony authorized dealer? Is Sony very picky about warranty repair if purchased from a non-authorized dealer? Thanks!

Yes Greentoe only deals with authorized dealer....and Yes Sony is very picky about who you get their devices from. ......

For Movies, Sony has better pre-calibration, plus better upscaling, gradient banding handling, uniformity, and OS. Vizio is significantly better brightness, contrast, and color. If you can calibrate (which is cheap and easy today with a PC[avsforum.com]), and get lucky with panel lottery (or don't mind exchanging).
Sony is better with no work, Vizio is better with a bit of work, particulary with high quality sources. I don't mind the work so I would pick Vizio, plus can get a 4K Firestick for $25.

Check again dude and I'm sure not much has changed
Why don't you check again?
PQX-G1 is last years model and doesn't have all the issues that the newer (and cheaper MSRP at release) PQX-H1 has, dude. It also apparently has better local dimming, though a much slower OS.

90-day return policy gets us through Thanksgiving, in case there's a better deal by then....
Pull the trigger or wait?
