congrats buddy this is a beautiful TV trust me. People in here are comparing it to other TV's playing their own demos. Go to Costco and see it side by side to the Q8 playing the same content and you will see that the 90CH looks better. The biggest mistake people make is that they go by specs all the time and you can't do that. Its like the Cowboys on paper they look great on the field ..... not so much.... one of those TVs was the Vizio PQ. The Sony 90CH or 900H however you want to call it is a great tv for the price and picture and color quality.

Vizio PX-G1 does not have HDMI 2.1 if you want to future proof your TV with for new console or PC graphic cards you should opt for Sony. The TV comes with the HDMI 2.1 hardware that will be turned on in "future" via firmware update.

Costco will only do a price adjustment within 30 days. If you want to wait till BF just wait. If you are going to buy it and returned it then don't, all you are doing is abusing the policy. The store loses money that way and hours get cut for employees.

Been considering 80-85" TV for a bit... the 85 900H/90CH has sounded decent to me. But was just in Costco to take a look (they only have the 75" in store), and could not see any major differences among the large screens they had on display (Sony, Samsung, LG LED). Is the Costco demo feed just that generic that it won't allow any TV to look that much better than the others ? (Besides the LG OLED, which had it's own display and demo to look great). I'm well aware that bright store light is not the best to checkout picture quality, but would think some obvious differences would be apparent. Seems they were all calibrated to look the same. Hard to justify dropping another $1k on a TV that doesn't 'pop' out at you.

LG's IPS panels are bad if you care about picture quality. The nano91 is expected to be very similar to the nano90, and here it is compared to the X900H [rtings.com]

They are usually the cheapest way to get HDMI 2.1 and a big size, but this deal changes that.

From RTINGS: The Sony X900H/X90CH is much better overall than the LG NANO90/91. The Sony has a VA panel, producing much deeper blacks, and it has a better full-array local dimming feature. It also gets brighter, has more accurate colors, and it has a more uniform screen. However, the LG has better built-in speakers, it handles reflections better, and being an IPS panel, it has wider viewing angles.

Lol! No. The point is the clear choice is Sony. Vizio TVs (including mine) have for years now been plagued with HDMI, screen, SoC issues.

This or the 2020 TCL 65" 6 series? I'm hooking it up to a 2080ti graphics card for gaming on a PC. The new TCL is supposed to be great for gaming but I'd like to hear some feedback from people who know more than I do. One thing I'm not doing is spending anymore than 1500 on a TV.... and the 65" TCL is going for about $900 compared to this one on sale at about $1200.

Even the PQX-H1 that just came out? There are no reviews on it yet, just some complaints on forums about firmware bugs.

I'm not sure on that one. I'm talking about Vizio TVs in general compared to a Sony.
