congrats buddy this is a beautiful TV trust me. People in here are comparing it to other TV's playing their own demos. Go to Costco and see it side by side to the Q8 playing the same content and you will see that the 90CH looks better. The biggest mistake people make is that they go by specs all the time and you can't do that. Its like the Cowboys on paper they look great on the field ..... not so much.... one of those TVs was the Vizio PQ. The Sony 90CH or 900H however you want to call it is a great tv for the price and picture and color quality.
Vizio PX-G1 does not have HDMI 2.1 if you want to future proof your TV with for new console or PC graphic cards you should opt for Sony. The TV comes with the HDMI 2.1 hardware that will be turned on in "future" via firmware update.
Costco will only do a price adjustment within 30 days. If you want to wait till BF just wait. If you are going to buy it and returned it then don't, all you are doing is abusing the policy. The store loses money that way and hours get cut for employees.
From RTINGS: The Sony X900H/X90CH is much better overall than the LG NANO90/91. The Sony has a VA panel, producing much deeper blacks, and it has a better full-array local dimming feature. It also gets brighter, has more accurate colors, and it has a more uniform screen. However, the LG has better built-in speakers, it handles reflections better, and being an IPS panel, it has wider viewing angles. https://www.rtings.com/tv/tools/c...1639/12284[rtings.com]
Should I add the Square Trade 3 years for $100 or buy with the Costco Visa and call it good?
Basic warranty is 3 years so it would be 5 years with Costco?

90 percent of failures occur in the first 30 days of use.
I've been eyeing this for a little while... was hoping for a price target for 85" below $2400.
90-day return policy gets us through Thanksgiving, in case there's a better deal by then....
Pull the trigger or wait?

Here is probably the best review and very honest. Trust me this tv is the real deal. I don't get why people would pay $4999 for a Q90 for just deeper blacks. The Samsung algorithm will darken every other color near the black to make the blacks darker. Sony on the other hand will brighten the area so you can see more detail. Pick your poison. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e...r4fI&t=12s

5 is plenty for me. TV tech should appreciably change with micro and mini LED by then, maybe even newer tech.

They are usually the cheapest way to get HDMI 2.1 and a big size, but this deal changes that.
