If you plan to buy day one anyway than why not preorder, I preordered Tony Hawk 1&2 remasters and ended up getting it for $33 instead of $40 because of Amazon's pre order guarantee

Yea I get that. Just weird this is a 'slickdeal'.

I understand special editions preorders being a slickdeal as they are more limited but this not so much. Maybe I am gatekeeping this entire thing and am putting too much thought in to this. Either way, I am really excited to ay Sunshine again!

Yeah I would guess they added it as a slickdeal since it is a limited run through March of next year so some think it may be a decent collectors option, I just want the game to replay em all on my switch

I highly doubt this will be valuable. I got the Super Smash Bros special edition with the steelbook case and limited edition controller, and they don't sell. I've had them for years now just collecting dust. There isn't anything valuable in this set. No steelbook or anything. Nintendo will pump out as many as possible until March. I can't imagine they'd have problems keeping up with demand since this is just a regular game with nothing special with the retail packaging, nor is anything added inside the packaging. There is no way pre-purchasing 3 old games before they're even done being ported for $60 is a slick deal. Between this, $80 ring fit adventures, and $300 Nintendo Switches being upvoted to the front page, I question why I ever added the word "Nintendo" to deal alerts.

I don't see how they will have any slowdown with manufacturing. I can't think of a standard packaging Nintendo game that they've had trouble producing. They could pump out a 1 million units until March if they wanted depending on pre-order sales.
