Same here. Just bought it a few weeks ago. Really used condition and suction was not working right. Returned. Have the brand new model of this and love it. Will wait for a better deal.
The one I received looked to be unused. I think maybe one little area had paint scratched? I bought it about a year ago and it's been working well since. I also bought a second one for my parents and they had the same experience. It looked like new.

Thank you! It might be worth the gamble then haha. Yeah I'm looking to buy for my parents because my dad is stubborn and doesn't want to replace the super heavy, old and broken vacuum😂 doesn't need anything fancy just something that works.
I got refurbed from ebay once and I think from newegg another time. Both were in good condition. But as others have said in this thread and past threads, it seems that occasionally people get a damaged one or the filter is already dirty, etc.
Mine came looking fairly new... I've had it alittle over a yr and it still pulls like a truck !!!
